I purchased the Thumb Spica to support my hand after a Cortisone Injection for Tenosynovitis. The one being offered by the Hand Therapist was certainly something I would not be able wear due to my bony wrists. So I went on-line and did half a day of research to find the right brace for me. It arrived in record time, so I had it on the actual day of the injection. It was instant comfort, support and protection. I've since purchased one the my other hand as I have arthritis and it aches. I wear both the braces to bed... they take a little bit getting used to, but they are comfortable and they breathe. I can't believe that I have no more aching pain in my hands.

By far the BEST thumb spica splint!!! Padded so nicely on the inside. Great mobilization of the wrist with the 3 velcro straps. The thumb is angled perfectly at a very neutral, natural position with its own adjustable strap. I originally had a size small but have lost enough muscle mass that I purchased a size XS for my left hand for continued, comfortable, snug support. Now about to purchase one for my right hand as my right has been overcompensating for what my left hand has been lacking. I wasted several hundred dollars on about 7 different spica splints for my de Quervains. Ossur's FormFit is the best one :)

I bought this brace for both wrists for De Quervain tenosynovitis. They have been extremely helpful in reducing the pain, even though I only wear them to bed at night. I consider them excellent value, very comfortable and effective for reducing my pain.

Using for de quervain's. It's very comfortable for a brace with the padding on the inside, tho it's starting to compress & I can see the padding not holding up with prolonged use. But unlike other braces, I haven't had to adjust the splint angle of the thumb at all & it doesn't dig into the side of my wrist where the inflammation is. Only complaint is that I would prefer the back side to cover more of the back of my hand & for the thumb piece to extend more as well. It's keeping me from moving the base of my thumb but not the tip, so it's not completely immobilized like it should be. Overall I'm happy w/ it.Also received it really quickly from ShopOrtho and will order from them again if I need to.
This was purchased for mom. She has carpal tunnel and has an issue with the thumb joint and was waiting for a cortisone injection but everything was put on hold due to covid. She struggles with pain and cannot take too much anti inflammatory due to side effects and already taking Tylenol. Glad to find this type of splint that supports both thumb and wrist but also allowed the rest of the fingers to move freely. She said it is not too restrictive and she can still function as she is right handed. She loves gardening and cooking. So far the splint is an added help, along with the meds, for now... she will still go for an injection as she needs it but this is a great addition until then. The sizing is also good. Thank you
I am a new mum and was diagnosed with de Quervain's tenosynovitis or "mother's wrist". Our doctor recommended to wear a wrist support as I am sufferring with pain in my wrist and numbness in my arm every morning I wake up. Hubby did the research and found this product. After 2 weeks of wearing it, the pain was lessen. I even wear this support when we were travelling. I still use this now as it really helps lessen the pain and numbness.
Bought this to ease pain from De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis “mummy wrist” and it’s extremely comfortable, a great fit and gives me enough support to actually give my injury a rest. I wear it primarily overnight to stabilize my wrist while I sleep and use it intermittently during the day when I really need. Amazing product. So relieved I found it. Also super speedy delivery was greatly appreciated!
I purchased 3 thumb/wrist braces from the chemist and eBay and the were all garbage. I was absolutely blown away when this one turned up. It was the quality of a proper boot leg brace. Fits perfectly in all the right places. It was absolutely worth the money I spent and if I ever need another brace for an injury, I won't bother going anywhere else first. I will only come to you guys. Thank you so much, I could not be happier.
When you're in pain, ordering online can be hit-and-miss. But not SupportBrace! Ordered it yesterday, and it was delivered today. Thank you so much. This is the second product I have bought for my thumb. This one is far superior. It's high quality and comfortable. Perfect if you have De Quervain's Tenosynovitis.
I tried some braces from my local chemist and they just failed and after around 4-5 months i got some scans and they were able to identify that I had a mild to extreme case of de quervain's tenosynovitis. So I jumped online and bought this brace as it seemed to be one of the better ones I had seen. After 4 weeks I can safely say that this is reduced my symptoms dramatically! Still not 100% but I am now able to use my wrist as per normal with out a brace for longer periods of time. This brace I highly recommend as it offers support and is easy to wash and clean. I am almost tempted to buy a right hand one just incase of future injuries to give my wright thumb a rest at times. Thanks for the great product, its exactly what I needed to get almost back to normal
