Awesome lightweight piece

This is so comfortable, I forget it's even on. So I now use it on almost every ride (I live with very rocky trails, and go fast). Great design. The back is nice and flexible. The arms don't rub, and it's super slim which means it fits under my Flexair jersey or a shirt. The small kidney pads around the waist also nicely cushion my hip pack straps. Again, wear it every ride!I haven't found a need for the back pocket. Kinda wish the front was D3O as the back is. One tip I wish they had added in the packaging... it's difficult to remove after your ride. I struggled with trying different methods to take off. But found that if I peel it off like a banana peel, it's then super easy to take off. Its worth it!

I bought this for extra protection when I ride in the bike park. It's lightweight, great quality material. It's expensive but worth it. So far so good! Thank you Moosejaw for rapid shipping.

Solid protector for trail and enduro riding

I’m between sizes so medium fits better than large but a bit snugger than I’d like. A bit longer than it needs to be. Doesn’t need a pocket in the back. Otherwise solid product as advertised but don’t be fooled, this thing is hot and you’ll drench the back on every ride. Weight is reasonable. Hard to get off after a ride and you gotta remove all foam and d3o then hand wash the jersey which is a pain cuz if you ride often it needs to be washed often cuz you’ll drench it every ride.Shipping was reasonable and super fast (I’m in California)

What Armor?

Given how robust the D30 looks, I was skeptical about comfort, but totally forgot I had it on before even starting the ride.Multiple 3 hour, big elevation up/down rides later, can confirm I only notice it when taking on/off, beyond comfortable...And fortunately, haven’t tested out impact protection (yet)...
