I had a problem with MTB shorts sliding down during the ride and then getting stuck on the nose of the saddle. With the thick elastic waist and ratchet buckle, these shorts solve that problem perfectly!

Ii have ordered about 4 different brands of mountain bike shorts but these are by far the best, most comfortable and light weight shorts.
I had a problem with MTB shorts sliding down during the ride and then getting stuck on the nose of the saddle. With the thick elastic waist and ratchet buckle, these shorts solve that problem perfectly!

I thought these were true to size! Some of the other reviews suggested they run large, but I'm typically a 33 waist, and the 34 size works well for me. If anything, they're a bit tight on the waist (so it's good the waist is very stretchy).Nice and cool in the summer heat.
Great shorts! Very comfortable, breathable and the ratchet buckle is very nice! They do make a little bit of noise when moving around but it's not bad. The chamois that comes with it is actually decent as well! Much better than the Ranger shorts
Bought these shorts as a shell to wear over biking shorts....they are perfect for that,Also great for everyday wear, most comfortable shorts I have ever owned.
I am somewhere between a 36 and 38. The 36 fits snugger but works better with my saddle. The 38 is definitely more comfortable on the waist/hips but is too baggy and gets caught. The shorts are pricey but they have served me well all summer on the trails so far. They feel pretty durable while also light enough not too contribute to overheating.

I literally had a crash 30 minutes ago biking my way back from some trail gnar. I slid a good 30 feet along the road way (I was pushing 35 mph) covered in small rocks and debris and stood up and walked away limping my poor bike home. Other than some minor road rash, the fabric held and protected me from the worst of it. The fact that I stood right up feeling fine with no major wounds speaks volumes for these shorts!They run a little large, I guess. I usually wear a 34 in jeans but I have these in 36.
