Really uncomfortable. Tried it on and the plastic from the MIPS cuts right into your forehead...like would do damage if you rode with this thing. I am not sure if this was a defective helmet or what. What I received was obviously a helmet that had been returned to Cambria at least once before. All the packaging was beat, all tags torn off and the parts bag was already opened with some of the extra pads loose in the box. I will try on the helmet again, but in a local store, so I don't have to pay Cambria the return shipping, and I can see if I am buying a used/returned helmet.

Fit seems to be about right, I was on the line and went a size up from what the size guide said to ensure it wouldn't be too tight when I was riding hard. Weight of the full face is negligible for me, hardly notice and it is well balanced (doesn't slam down over my eyes if I don't have the smoothest of landings).I am a big fan of the magnetic buckle. MIPS is a bit noisy but only notice it if riding slower on a super smooth trail or asphalt (I'm just someone who is super picky about my bike/cars clicking, squeaking, making new sounds ect.).On harder climbs it gets a bit toasty (75*F and sunny with no wind) but as long as I am moving or there is a decent breeze I would say it isn't much hotter than my standard BMX helmet. We will see what happens in mid-August.

I've now owned this helmet for a year and I love it. I do almost exclusively trail riding with one or two days of lift-assisted riding per year. This helmet is so light and comfortable that I reach for it even on the hottest days. I run extremely hot and the vents are a life-saver. Plus, I love that I can drink with my camelbak with barely any hassle. Exceptional helmet if you like earning your turns. Luckily I have not crashed hard enough on my head to test that function out, but I'll update my review in the event that I do.

I have been looking for a full face helmet that is Asian fit, even thought this is not marketed as Asian fit but it fits well. I use the thicker foams for front and back, as well as cheek pads that came with the helmet for a customized fit. Air flow is great, no issue with heat at all. I went with size XL, again due to Asian fit. I had to push the foams a little on both sizes. Overall I’m very happy with the helmet.
Just a little bit big on my 54cm head. I do have the larger neck roll and cheek pads in. I wish there was one larger size set of pads. Even for purchase. Not too snug on the cheeks or around the ears like the rampage. Not sure how this would fit a 52cm head (the lower end of the size chart for this size), it would definitely move around a good bit. I really like how light it is. I tried the rampage also and although I felt the fit was a little better it was much heavier (weighed 2.8 lbs when I weighed it, vs 1.6lbs for the proframe). Overall, happy with this helmet.
My riding has progressed to the point where I’m sending bigger jumps, drops, and carrying speed down technical rocky trails. I felt like my half shell was a little low on coverage for the type of riding I’m doing now. Also, going to be riding some DH parks, and this helmet is DH rated, maybe not quite as protective as a heavier full-on DH helmet, but certainly adequate. I measured in at the bottom of the range to fit a size large, and am using the thickest pads that came in the box. The cheek pads are snug, and the helmet stays in its place. Size chart seems to be accurate, and size up if you’re in between, because the largest cheek pads are very thick and will take up a lot of space if you need to size up. Range of vision is really open, and venting/airflow is phenomenal. It picks up every bit of moving air, probably vents even a little better than my Giro chronicle which is a half shell. Fidlock buckle on chin strap is excellent, was even able to close it with one hand while climbing. Easy to install a universal light mount (top/forward vents), I ran the straps between the MIPS liner and around the helmet body, to allow the MIPS system to move as intended. Will have to see how it does when the temps get up around 90, but I wore this thing for 3.5 hours last night around 70 and it felt great.
This is my second proframe I bought after I crunched my first Proframe outer layer in a Mild crash! (See Pics). This Fox Proframe did exactly what I wanted it to do, PROTECT!!! I was very lucky and I didn’t have any head or neck injury as I credit this to the MIPS system but also very impressed with how this guy crumbled ever so slightly. I love how cool and open it feels while riding even when it’s above 90 degrees here on the East Coast. Fox allows you to customize the fit with supplying all the necessary sizes for jaw and helmet pads. Bottom line here, The Fox Proframe is a remarkable full face MTBhelmet. It’s lightweight, MIPS Safe, very comfortable, and its overall breathability makes it impressive.
Very comfortable (I switched to the smallest set of pads - awesome that several sets are included). Airflow is great. Looks sharp. Fidlock strap is very nice as well. The standard.
The Fox Proframe is a perfect helmet for MTB because it is lightweight and really vented. I can climb a long steep trail without getting overheated, at the same time feel confident that I’m protected if I fall. I have 2 serious crashed that resulted in broken helmets, but no injuries. I’m on my third Proframe helmet.
True to size. Helmet also comes with extra padding in the box for a more custom fit. This helmet is awesome 👌. Temperature here in NC has not been hot since I purchased but seems to have plenty air flow. The magnetic snap buckle is something that every helmet needs. I feel very protected and looks rad!
