Fox Rampage Pro Carbon Fuel MIPS Full Face Helmet: THE MTB HELMET TRUSTED BY UCI WORLD CUP CHAMPIONS When every second counts, you can’t argue with gravity. Designed for the toughest of World Cup runs, the Rampage Pro Carbon MIPS Fuel Helmet is full-face, full-gas, and packed with race-ready features and technology that’ll keep your head in the game and your safety on speed dial. Lightweight performance and protection for all your downhill runs—you can’t argue with that either. The RPC is performance and protection wrapped in one lightweight carbon, race-ready package. Trusted by UCI World Cup Champions—and designed with direct input from our elite downhill and freeride athletes—its features read as the gold-standard helmet checklist. MIPS , designed to reduce rotational motion and redirect forces from your brain in a crash, is top of that list. Pair that peace of mind with breakaway visor screws that are designed specifically to sheer off on impact and reduce those rotational forces, and that’s protection dialed. There’s no need to sacrifice comfort or performance for that protection either. The dual-density, injection-molded Varizorb EPS liner balances weight with performance, but also ups the protection further by spreading forces over a wider surface area. Superior ventilation and airflow come care of the injected mesh vent screens, keeping you cool while also protecting against flying dirt and debris, while the X-Static head liner and cheek pads ward off bacterial growth (meaning less of your stink gets into it), and is machine washable. MIPS added protection system is meant to reduce the rotational motion when implemented in a helmet by absorbing and redirecting energies and forces otherwise transmitted to the brain Breakaway visor screws are designed to sheer off at impact to reduce rotational forces Dual-density, In-Mold Varizorb EPS balances weight with performance and is meant to provide improved protection by spreading forces over a wider surface area Lightweight carbon fiber shell construction Injected mesh vent screens maintain superior ventilation and airflow while shielding the rider from dirt and debris Removable, washable X-Static comfort liner and cheek pads are antimicrobial and manage odor while wicking moisture away from the head Note: Avoid exposure to aerosol sprays like bug repellent and sunscreens as they can cause your helmet's finish to peel Meets EN 1078, CPSC 1203, AS/NZS 2063, and ASTM F1952

This thing is as burly as mountain bike helmets get without being obscenely heavy, fully confident that I won’t get concussed again the next time I hit a tree at 25 miles an hour 🤙

Sick helmet. Hope I never have to fully test it, but looks up to the task.

Fox doesn't offer different cheek pad thicknesses for this Rampage. Apparently, Fox offers cheek pads for every other Rampage model EXCEPT their most expensive carbon Rampage helmet! How is that acceptable?! $600 helmet and no different size cheek pads? The Fox Airspace goggles do not fit this helmet either. Who designed this helmet, anyways?! If you wrap the goggle strap where it's supposed to go around the helmet, it pushes the goggles up and it doesn't make a good seal around your face. The only way it works is if you position it lower on the helmet but then it blocks the rear vents. There is also a gap between the helmet and the goggles in the center. The only way it works is if you position it lower on the helmet but then it blocks the rear vents. There is also a gap between the helmet and the goggles in the center. It's due to the way the Airspace goggles are designed. And lastly, the issue with the size: I'm a size medium in every helmet brand. 57cm/22.5in. Every review and even Fox says that this helmet runs small and if you're in between, go bigger. The Medium helmet is a size 57-58cm. I figure since I'm on the smaller side, I'll be fine with the medium. It is snug, but the main issue are the check pads. I removed them and tried the helmet and the fit is snug but not uncomfortable. The cheek pads are too thick and make the fit worst. Again, its a $600 dollar helmet and Fox cant even size it correctly?I'll be looking at the Fox Proframe to replace this one.
Bought this for my husband because he loves the fit of fox helmets. He likes the ventilation in this helmet too. The benefits of MIPS give me peace of mind for his protection
Amazing helmet, looks awesome, fits well and breathable!
Top helmet, top servece
Nice helmet
Was stoked to get my hands on a RPC at a monster discount. The lid is sharp and the fit is good aside from the break in squirrel cheeks. My disappointment arrived unfortunately quickly for such a quality product. First, the quick release cheek pads are connected with some sort of snap in design that is nearly impossible to line up all three tabs correctly, so you will likely have one of the tabs of these cheek pads loose at any given moment. Second and much more frustrating, a little snap button at the inside end of the chin strap holds the strap pad in place and this snapped right in two when I was holding the helmet by the strap. I though the button had just come up snap, but no, the button is broken and now the strap pad is loose and slides right off very easily. ... MoreWas stoked to get my hands on a RPC at a monster discount. Lastly, I like that the visor is locked in place, but it has not quick release or any other contingency if you actually hit the ground, so you just have to by a new one if it breaks...?
