These shorts look great, fit great, and are perfect for mountain biking. Strong material yet breathable. I like the zipper pockets.
These are really good shorts. in fact, I just ordered a 2nd pair. I have several pairs of Flexair shorts that i've been using for years. Decided to try the Ranger as something that would double better as a casual short. Love 'em - comfortable, zippered pockets, good style, and quiet (the Flexiar's are noisy). if it were really hot outside, i'd probably still reach for the Flexairs since they have more vent holes, but otherwise totally happy to ride in either.
These Fox Ranger shorts are a great product. I do machine wash on delicate in woolite with cold water and there is no color loss. They are light, and paired with Fox's enduro knee pads cover the top of my legs from sun overexposure. I love them so much I bought a second pair!
Description should say there is no zipper on fly. It opens up when you sit on the bike which is embarrassing for an adult. Otherwise a great pair of shorts and would be 5 stars.
Quit writing in your normal everyday shorts and pick up some Fox Ranger mountain bike shorts. Totally worth the money! You'll enjoy your ride much more because you won't be hot and uncomfortable. The shorts are light and cool uncomfortable. And they stretch so when you're ripping it up on the trail they're comfortable. And they're Fox!
Light weight; Breathes well; snap button closure works well; zip down pockets are a nice upgrade- would love one more pocket though
