The shell is strong and supportive, working in tandem with the liner to reduce road-vibration while staying responsive to your movements.To ensure that your foot is held securely in place, the FR X 80 skates feature a FK buckle fastening at the ankle and a velcro mid-strap fastening across the top of your foot. The FR laces are somewhat of a cult item for dedicated skaters. Due to their long length, wide girth and matte finish they grip very well.
