One of the most well thought-out cases I've ever worked with. It was a pleasure to build my new workstation machine. Only criticism was that the screws holding in the 5.25" drive bay cage were too tight to remove - so I wasn't able to install my optical drive, but otherwise case is excellent.

Pros: The case looks and is serious inside and out. There are plenty of little thoughtful design choices. You could house a gaming rig or server in it, and it looks smart and premium enough to suit probably any environment.Cons: The grill pattern used around the case is nice, but clashes with the pattern used on the dust filters. A simpler pattern like plain holes would be better. The 5.25" drive bay also lacks support meaning the drive actually hangs at a slight angle because the weight effectively hinges at the front of the case. A simple bracket could have prevented this.

Stylish and well-ventilated chassis with good choice for placement in the home, spacious despite its size. I successfully installed a 280mm water cooler with fans and a 2-slot video card in it.

I bought this case as Hexus seemed to recommend it, but have been disappointed with it for several reasons. It was not that easy to route wiring around the backwithout running into metal case parts and, getting the PSU into the mounting position is very arkward. The very worst and every day I'm annoyed by the level of noise created by the actual case. I tried everything from different low noise fans to disabling virtually all fans, replacing the lid of the case with the supplied mesh top - but no - still drones on - like the box of the case causes a funnelling effect. It's not the PSU fan or the CPU fan - both are virtually inaudible.
A high quality case for a quiet PC build. The material and design quality is great as you'd expect at this price point. Access for building and cable management are all very good. Some online reviews claim there are thermal issues with this case but my Ryzen 5600X (with a Noctua NH-D15 cooler) and RTX 3070 FE run cool and quiet
This is my second Fractal case, with my first one being from my last build a decade ago. I am not one for tempered glass and fancy RGBs, so I really like its understated but sleek look. Lots of customisation options as well with regards to the inner layout, and if you want to swap the entire top to one big vent. Inside the case is super roomy, with plenty of space for all components. In the back of the case are lots of thoughtfully pre-installed cable routing channels, and cable management was a breeze with this case. It has lots of capacity for fans and despite the solid front panel, it seems to have really great airflow and I don't see any difference in temperature stats between keeping the door closed, and opening it (so all the front fans are uncovered). Had a previous Fractal case for 5 years and it has been great. Did a lot of research, but ended up coming back to Fractal for the updated Define 7. Case is extremely well made. Really feels like a quality product with lots of well thought out design features to give flexibility. If you want an understated, elegant case, this is a great choice.
Pros: A solid construction and design that offers exceeding levels of versatility for a case.Cons: The case is very heavy, though for all the right reasons. Price point could be lower.
Overall Im very happy with the case, its huge, its well built, its handles noise well, the pads help, but dont expect magic either ;) also temps do suffer a bit due to all the insulation. To nitpick, but I feel like nitpicking at this price point, the build quality is great, but its not LianLi great unfortunately, I rarely change cases, and last one was a very old LianLi PC61, which for an ancient case did have a more premium build to it ..but I die grass, Im still very happy with this case :)
I am using this for a Ryzen 3900X build with the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master, Noctua NH-D-15S, 2 Samsung M.2 drives, GeForce 1060, 2 7,200RPM SATA drives, and a Blu-Ray optical drive. It is one of the only modern cases with a 5.25 drive bay, good airflow/noise balance, and USB Type-C on the front panel. This case is dead quiet compared to my Cooler Master Sniper I used on my last Intel build. Connectivity is great and I like that I can remove the side door without a thumbscrew. I specifically chose the solid side panel over tempered glass for durability and again this was a somewhat rare feature when requiring the other specs. Love it.
