I picked this case because I wanted something that was roomy, with decent airflow, good dust protection (I have two cats and a dog), and that fit on the shelf under my desk (20" depth). A lot of other cases opt for lower height and greater depth, which wouldn't work in my situation where height is less of a constraint than depth. I also wanted a case that could fit a 360mm AIO (I used the Fractal Celsius S36). It's definitely not a huge case, but it has enough room to get the job done without being cramped. I used two M.2 SSDs, so I don't have SATA cables or any drive power cables to deal with, as well as a fully modular PSU. There are so many good reviews of this case there is really nothing of much substance I can add. Back in the 1990s, I built personal computers, workstations, and servers in a variety of configurations as part of my day job. I also built my own computers exclusively. It's fair to say, I know my way around the guts of a PC. About 8 or 9 years ago I built my last PC and favored laptops exclusively since then. You can imagine my delight to discover how well thought out the case design is. And Dear Lord in Heaven, how quiet the fans are! Seriously, the only time I even notice them is when my basement office is dead quiet (which it rarely is). Even then, I think it's the airflow that I am hearing. Color me impressed! I would definitely recommend it.

I have enough scars. The included instruction manual had all the info I would need on the case, and I was impressed to see that it shows full case dimensions, GPU and CPU cooler tolerances, and a parts list. Also, the fans that come with this case aren't bad. I did swap them out for Noctua redux fans (2 P14's in the front and 1 P12 in the back), but they're good if you want to save money and have lower-end parts. They're quiet, too, which really helps. Based on the description of this case and how it looked in the pictures I opted for this one. Once you finish the computer build the finished system looks nice and tidy. Underneath the PSU shield is a removable 3.5" drive bay that can fit two drives. There's also the option to take that out and just mount a single 3.5" drive along the bottom of the case. Unfortunately, having either the drive bay or a single drive in place means you can't use a 120mm fan there at all. This isn't a dealbreaker and the SSD mounts along the backside easily hold up to 3 drives there so there's plenty of space for drives, but if you have a 3.5" drive you're planning on using for the main drive or storage, you won't be able to use that fan. This is a wonderful case and I highly recommend this over any budget case you may be tempted to buy. The cable management alone is worth the extra cost and you will be so much happier being able to skip the zip ties for everything!
The bad. I had a time trying to remove the front filter. The manual doesn't really show how it's done. Watched a video and figured it out. It is a little stiff but fine. The good. Everything else is good. A very pleasant build. Was going to give it 4 eggs for the poor explanation of the front filter removal but the quality, design, aesthetics , and fit and finish push it back up to 5. I like how removing all the drive mounting hardware didn't affect case stability. Would use again.
