Don’t usually leave reviews but the case is real top notch, one of the best I’ve ever used to build in.

Transferred my existing build out of a Corsair 275R, this case is slightly bigger and makes installation at bit easier.Has plenty of space for the Noctua NH-D15. I would not recommend this case if you are watercooling/AIO unless it is a 120mm rad used in exhaust as otherwise you have the radiator at the bottom as an intake directly on to your gpu or you need to remove the twin rgb 180mm fans at the front and use a bracket to install a 120/240/360mm rad on the front. There is no top rad mounting. For air cooled machines, this is a treat, plently of airflow from the front and bottom, but i would suggest blocking the bottom off if you are not using fans to intake on the bottom to ensure positive pressure is maintained.

I built my latest PC in this case and I love the look and build quality. I went for the ARGB version with light tint glass and I think the whole build looks great. My only problem was the tight cable management round the back of the motherboard tray, there's plenty of useful places to run cables but for large cables like the mobo power it is difficult to get everything in and also get the side panel glass on flush with the case.Overall, I'm really pleased with it (even if cable management was a bit of a pain!).

Positives: Good looks, high airflow 180mm fans mean low temperatures, tasteful RGB lighting, Fan hub, GPU support bracket, optional vertical GPU mount and good range of front IO.Negatives: Cable management is frustrating as there is very little space around the back, top cover is very easily scuffed and must be screwed on to prevent it coming off too easily, due to the top mounted GPU some PCIe GPU power cables will be too short (I have a Seasonic GX-650FX with 750mm cables so I didn't need extensions) and the fan hub is only single channel. Conclusion: There is much more to like than dislike about the Fractal Torrent Compact so I would recommend it, just bear in mind you should avoid cable extensions and make sure your GPU power cable(s) are long enough.
Do recommend if you have an air-cooled build. Cable run at the back of the case is a bit tight, but so long as you aren't using extensions, or an excess of cable based modifications, led strips, custom water-cooling loops etc, Just a modest, normal gaming PC, it's a non issue. It will require a bit of thought, but its totally doable without too much effort.I recommend putting every cable you want to use through the grommets and figuring out your cable management from there before plugging anything at all into any component. Just make sure you get the minimal amount of cable crossover as possible and everything should fit nicely. If you like games like Sokoban, you will probably really enjoy this process lol.But yeah, love this case. It's beautiful, thermals are ... MoreDo recommend if you have an air-cooled build. Don't let the cable run issues turn you away form getting it if you are interested, the cable management may be a necessary procedure, but it is not a difficult one.
Fantastic case, really good looking with phenomenal airflow from the 2 stock 180mm fans. Only downside is the cable management. Even with just a basic airflow based setup, the rear panel bulges at one of the corners. Not a big deal though as it doesn’t seem to be damaging and it’s hard to notice most of the time anyway. Other than that it’s a really fun case to build in, the quality of it is easily going to last me multiple builds over the next decade or so, a really good investment.
Very good case. Yes, the space on the back is limited, but it is not too tricky to get the back panel to close, and since it is tempered glass, it is possible to see where the pressure points are. Easier with cable extensions that are able to splay out. Temps at load are about 5-10 degrees better than my previous h510 and it’s quieter at load, but it’s marginally noisier at idle (which is unsurprising as this is a very open case). Neither resulted in any thermal throttling. There is plenty of plastic in this case, and although it is certainly sturdy, it doesn’t feel quite as premium as some other alternatives. This is probably made up for by its excellent airflow design for air cooled builds.
