It does have straps at the back that enable you to carry out like a backpack but this design doesn't work very well because all the items in the bag collect at the bottom making it very difficult to walk around with. Disappointed overall.

I use these bags for hiking, as a light and tough backpack.I imagine one day, LV might use this design, for its Resort collections. ^_*It would be good to have smaller sizes.

I purchased a variety of different ikea bags for a move. I’m glad I didn’t just get all the same.These blue bags are much thinner plastic than they used to be. I hope this is because they are biodegradable. However I don’t have any confidence in their strength now. This particular bag was split down the seams. Of course I am not fighting ikea lines to take back or sitting on the phone so that’s money and more importantly a resource wasted. Working my way through the rest…

I packed and re-packed this bag so many times in my recent move. Perfect for moving clothes, linen, kitchenware (the list continues). Even better the straps can be used to turn the bag into a backpack to allow free hands to carry even more.
Best storage bag ever. Tough and easy to access things inside. The fact that it can be carried as a backpack makes it stand out from any other bags.
I use this for a lot of different things. I can attach it to my two tier, basket trolley when I go shopping or a can put put 3 of them vertically in my beach trolley when I go out and about. Great versatility. Could use it to store lots of things around the house. I have 5 of them.
