I have a 2014 Ram Larimie 5.7l. Tried for an hour to get this filter installed in the air box but it wouldn't fit. Bought a filter at the local Ram dealership and installed it in about a minute. The filter # at Canadian Tire and the Fram website for this truck is CA9401, but it didn't work for me. I think the orange seal around the filter is too big to fit in the grove in the air box. Return staff at Canadian Tire Cochrane were great-no hassle.

The absolutely filthy condition of my car's air-filter was brought to my attention when I stopped in for an oil change at one of the many drive-in oil change facilities in town. I declined the purchase of an air filter there and opted to stop in at CT which was just a couple of blocks away. Using my CT network access, I quickly found the filter I needed and located it on the shelf. I paid for it and changed the filter myself in the parking lot. After that, I noticed a huge difference in my car's performance, which has almost 340,000 kms. on the odometer. I don't know why, but I don't think I've checked the air-cleaner once since I purchased this car four years' ago, when it had only 301,000 km. I estimate I saved about $35.00 by doing this re. & re. myself. I bought the correct part # for my car, as verified by myself and a couple CT team members. The filter itself was labelled with the correct part #. However, the actual dimensions were short by 8mm in length and 6mm in width. Defective from factory and all the stock on the shelf was the same.Returned and bought a Napa Gold. I'll never buy another Fram anything, which I only ever do in a pinch anyway.

Always take the recommendation from your mechanic when to change things like filters. Just don’t let them do it at 3X the cost. OEM parts aren’t really superior just the price is. Something you can do yourself easily with YouTube as the instructions. Canadian Tire sells good auto parts.
Bought today, used the search to match to my car both in the app and in store. went to parts counter to pick up.Too small by an INCH in length. The Fram website also recommends this filter for my car and describes it as an inch smaller than the standard filter . This does not make sense. Do not buy for your 2014 Camry LE. CT update your search results!!!
Great air filter that I have been using in my 2011 Ford Fiesta for quite some time. While I had used a K&N filter for a while, these were my backup while it was cleaned. My MAF eventually chose to stop playing nice with the K&N (even without oil) so I have returned to FRAM again.If you live in a dusty environment such as a new housing development, make sure to change these frequently as the tight spacing (they are touching each other) between the pleats means that once the troughs between pleats become filthy, you’ll notice it in performance.
Not at all happy with this purchase. Looked up air filter at the store. On the surface it appeared to be correct, however when I attempted to install it the neck was 1/2 inch too long. I tried to make an adjustment to the filter and ended up damaging it. I have the receipt, however I am not going to return a damaged filter when I am responsible.Packaged wrong or a defective filter? Not sure. I will investigate further.
Oil change, oil filter & air filter. Been a while since I had that done, because of covid. I was expecting a higher price because of the increase in the cost of oil. I was pleasently surprised...it was cheaper than any other place and the product is very good quality. Ya gotta love Canadian Tire!!
I have purchased the same unit a number of times before but this time, using the identical part number, the filter has significantly fewer pleats and therefore a lot less filter material. Price was about the same as before.With less material it will not last as long and there will be more air flow restriction.The fit was good for a 2015 Sienna but I will not purchase again due to concerns mentioned above.
Got the last one in store, both me and the floor clerk where a bit sceptical at the proportions since it looked a tad big for a small car like mine. But it was a perfect fit. Exactly the same dimensions as the OEM I was replacing it with. Now 3 weeks in and so far, seems to be fine. Would recommend.
