I am thinking I could take out the straw and just unscrew the top to drink from it instead, have not tried it but definitely will. Sure it's a pretty bottle, but absolutely not worth the price. Mine scratched within the first day I had it, when all I did was go from home to uni and had it on my desk. I contacted the Frank Green customer service who said they wouldn't do anything for me as it was apparently normal wear and tear, which obviously it isn't when it happens that quickly. Now, around 2 months later the bottle fell over in the sink and the entire lid is broken and cracked apart. I've had $12 water bottles from Kmart that perform twice as well as my Frank Green, I don't recommend it at all.

This Frank Green water bottle is amazing. It holds 34 oz of liquid. So far i hsve only had cold water in it and it kept it pretty cool. The spout is an easy to use straw that pops up when you press on it. It has a metal straw inside and the lid and straw are both dishwasher safe. The bottle has to be handwashed but the mouth is so large this it isnt a problem to clean inside. The inside is ceramic. The green color is so bright! It also had a rubber handle to carrybit easily. The packaging states that it is BPA free, FDA & EU approved.

Overall I really like this bottle. It is a bright, cheery color, does a great job of keeping water cold, and is very durable. It took a sizable tumble and is still in perfect condition. The straw is stainless steel & I prefer that to the usual plastic straws in cups like this. It is slightly heavy and if it was any larger I would need 2 hands to hold it. I do wish it would fit in my car cupholder but overall love that the mouth is wide enough to make it easy to clean & fill with ice.
I wanted to love this but was ultimately disappointed. The color and size are fantastic, but the problem is I cant actually drink from the bottle. The straw that is included sits flush in the rubber portion of the lid up against the inner spout. This only allows air to come through when trying to drink. I swapped out the straw for one of my own and its works fine now. It can be pushed up into the inner spout within the rubber gasket sealing it off and letting water flow.
Received my Frank Green Super cute ceramic insulated 34 Oz cup. I couldn’t imagine having another cup. Easy to clean with is removable stainless steal inside straw and pop sip straw. Keeps my drinks cold for hours and ice for days. I love this pink cup. Dishwasher safe. I love the wrist string for easy carrying. It doesn’t spill or slash which is a plus when carrying it around from place to place. The stainless steal base allows you to not have to worry about busting this bottle up. Heavy duty material. Recommended for those who want a portable drinking bottle that will last a lifetime. It’s a must have and will buy other colors.
I have to be honest and say that this is not my favorite bottle, but I do like it. Pros: Color, Material (including the stainless steel straw), Dishwasher Safe, and it can hold both hot and cold liquids. Cons: Cannot figure out how to detach the top (even after reading the instructions), will leak if left in open position, and probably the thing I dislike most about this bottle is the push top. It’s just not user friendly. You have to push and then pull the top up and after that you’ve touched the very part that will go in your mouth (😖). I would much rather prefer a push top bottle that had an actual button and the top popped up compared to how it’s constructed now. Otherwise, it’s a nice bottle.
I've never had a water bottle this big, but I think it will be especially good for me after suffering from heat illness/dehydration to make sure I get enough fluids on a hot day. The 34 oz capacity will be great for adding 2 of most water flavorings such as Propel, Crystal Light, Gatorade, etc. The bottle has a durable metal straw inside, a handy loop to carry the bottle, and a spout that folds away. The finish on the outside of the bottle is nice to the touch. I received this product for free from the Hey, Bullseyeâ„¢ sampling program in exchange for my honest review.
This Frank Green water bottle is a new favorite. The design is simple, modern, and sleek. The pop up straw is easy to use and the gold metal straw inside is a great addition. It helps to not leave the plasticky taste some straws tend to leave when sitting in a bottle for a while. I’ve only used this for cold beverages and it does an okay job insulating; seems to lose the insulation quicker than other brands. The thing I would adjust on this bottle is a slimmer fit at the bottom to allow to fit in a standard cup holder. For this reason I’ve used it as an at-home bottle rather than on the go.
The bottle is amazing. The colour is beautiful. But unfortunately I have to say that the delivery from David John was terrible. They just put it in a simple plastic bag without wrapping it on something (bubble wrap, cardboard). Of course, the poor bottle arrived with marks and bumps because of this. They could spend a few cents on bubble wrap or something to avoid all the damage from the delivery. Or at least use q box to delivery it instead of a plastic bag ! This is an expensive bottle and I think it deserves a better treatments. I have pictures of how the bottle arrived if Mr David is interested in them.
