A fantastic shoe for travelling and walking around summer city and beach escapes. The base of the shoe is supportive but somehow soft and cushioned. I love the gold hardware. I’m a new customer to Frankie 4 after a plantar fasciitis tear. These are the only shoes I will buy now for comfort, support and style. I can’t believe the bad quality flats and sandals I used to wear! There is no comparison between Frankie 4.

I was advised to return and buy a larger size. I did that but the pair I have ended up with are way too big. I ended up paying an extra $45 to get extra Velcro sewn onto the back straps so I can tighten them up. This helps somewhat but I still feel they are too big, my feet grip to the shoes to keep them on when I walk. My original shoe was comfortable to wear (until the metal loop broke after only 5 wears). These are one of the most comfortable pair of sandals that I have worn in a long time. I have wide puffy feet due to a medical condition and finding shoes that fit comfortably is extremely hard. I purchased these hoping that they would be wide enough and they were perfect. Apart from that they have great support and are very modern looking. I’m grateful that shoe companies have finally started to make shoes that not only feel good but look great for those of us that don’t fit the standard fitting shoe.

A great casual sandal that has attracted many compliments. Comfortable, stylish and adjustable for hot swollen feet if needed. Neutral colour goes with anything.BUT.... I am disappointed with the heal strap. It is too long and extends over the back of the heal counter when in the best velcro position. Adjusting it means the strap does not make contact with the velcro and flaps on the side of the shoe. Taken to a cobbler for adjustment.Frankie4 - the design needs tweaking :)
I really love the look of these shoes, and they are comfortable to wear. But the velcro for the strap doesn't extend far enough on the shoe itself, so after a few wears the strap is starting to flap around as there is not enough velcro to connect to. Now that they have stretched too and I'm needing to tighten them I can't because there is nothing left to connect to. They are sadly becoming more annoying to wear when in something long as the strap part starts to get caught on my dress hem or pant leg given it's not able to be secured properly. So a disappointing purchase in the end.
I loved how these shoes looked and felt when I first bought them. They are my fourth pair of Frankies, and this experience won't put me off buying Frankie shoes. However, with these shoes, they were very comfortable until I spent an afternoon walking in them and had bad blistering the next day. I'm sure that if I had worn them in properly (and once I do), they will be fine, but I bought them to wear on a holiday and I can't wear them to walk in until I break them in properly. If you are going to buy these shoes, definitely wear them in and stretch the leather first; don't do what I did and pack them in your bag straight away to wear on your holiday.
These are very comfortable leather sandals. I personally love a platform and these gave me that chunky platform vibe in a podiatrist-friendly shoes. These are super versatile, can be dressed up or down. The first couple of wears I got some blisters (I wore them all day though) but after that these have completely moulded to my foot. I do wish they weren't a velcro strap at the back as I am worried they will wear quicker than a buckle but we will see. So far a wardrobe staple. If you are between sizes, size down.
I had no idea I was missing these sandals in my life until I walked into the store and spotted them. The glow of the soft brushed gold and the creamy linen colour caught my eye and I had to try them. They are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet and right out of the box! the serious stuff though, I have a pronounced bunion on my left foot only making shoe buying very difficult. These sandals adjust at multiple points across each foot making them super versatile and a breeze to wear. They are heavy and robust, indicating quality craftsmanship and with a super cushiony sole. Perfect for the beach, holidays or work....so good in fact I have ordered the black as well! Please make these in more colours Frankie4!

I have not yet had to use them but I plan to use them for trips to Europe, the Middle East, and walking around the city here in Philly (USA) in the summers where there's cobblestone and lots of all-day walking and standing. The platform is very comfortable, but quite rigid, which means there is going to be a break-in period. So far, wearing them around the house to break them in, my toes feel some pressure but since the straps are fabric I expect this to soften with time. I have wide feet and am usually a US size 6. 5 and got the 7 since they didn't have the 6. 5 - there is some additional length managed by tightening the strap a bit, but the width is ... After a 30-45 mins consultation, I was told the Camels were my perfect fit. They were not. Blisters, ulcers, sores are my every day result. When approached Management said I needed to wear thick sox with the sandals for several days to several weeks to “stretch & soften” the leather enough to wear them out recreationally. Blood ridiculous advice given Frankie4’s are a “Specialised Footwear” supplier.No refund or credit. No exchange offer forth coming. Nothing offered at all. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!. Shop at K Mart!!.
