Bought this exact set at Sports Basement. First game string on one racquet broke, and on the other racquet the strings were so loose that the shuttle got stuck in the strings at least 10 times. One word: useless.

These rackets do the job for a great day of hard core playing. As with any badminton racket, eventually the strings break because of the thin wires, but after purchasing 4 of the rackets, 3 are still functioning perfectly after 2 months and many many games of hard core playing. I consider this a great deal for the price that I paid.

First off we received these badminton racquet's incredibly fast, seemed way too fast, but we'll take it. These are the real deal racquet's and my kids that play frequently could get about a 20 count volley, got a 39 count volley due to the precision and quality of these units. Great quality, look and feel.
We are a family that is into playing backyard badminton. I bought a 4set racket from a popular retailer a couple years ago, for about the same price as what I paid for this pair. This set is very similar quality to the set I bought from the popular retailer that lasted us a couple years before the strings busted (due to quality / not use). I then bought a set of Wilson rackets for double the price as this, and probably will not pick this set up to use, unless I am giving it to the kiddos to use. Again, it is a fine set - for the price. I would be happy with it - as a simple fun in the backyard.

This set that I just bought on eBay, although coming with no net, comes with two rackets made of metal and two birdies. For the price difference, the set I just bought on eBay, for $6 more, has a lot more quality for the price difference. Unless one of the kids bashes it against a brick wall, this should be very entertaining for the kids and hold up for them for quite some time. This item is strong enough, unless there is abuse of the item. I highly recommend this badminton set for kids, whose intentions are just to have fun with badminton. I bought 4 racquets for about $22. One of the racquets broke within one hour of use. The handle came loose from the metal shaft and it twists now. I duct taped it to try to get more use out of it. Maybe there is a better deal elsewhere.
The rackets are good for beginners and low level recreation play. The shuttlecocks are garbage, cracked and broke apart after 10 minutes of play with my young children, so it wasn't even like we were hitting them that hard.
Both rackets string broke within 2 weeks. Birdies came in oval shape. Had to use hair dryer to make them back to round.
