Alex Pearce's journey from Tasmania to Fremantle serves the inspiration for the Fremantle Dockers 2023 Indigenous Guernsey. The jumper is designed by Pearce's close friend Carly Grey. Each chevron contains a significant element of Palawa culture and history. Shells in the middle of the design feature a light touch of berry which connects their story to the women of the Fremantle football club. Significantly, from 2023 onwards the club will contest the Sir Doug Nicholls Round games as the Walyalup Football Club.
