Ordered 2 of these. Both have the same problem. The LED system never progresses beyond 1 blink, even after 12 hrs. As far as you know, never beyond 25%. This LED system is an excellent idea in theory: 1 blink for 25%, 2 for 50%, 3 for 75% and unblinking for full charge. Better than Fuji branded chargers which go dark upon reaching full charge. That could mean anything including not charged at all, or interrupted, after a power cut, for instance. Ambiguous. It turns out, though, that full charge IS reached, and probably after 2-4hrs. Just disregard the LEDs which dont work. Ridiculously inexpensive, almost certainly wont last (these are flimsy and light). The problem is Chinese quality control, which sets new standards for abysmal - cheap because it is only able to ... MoreOrdered 2 of these. Both have the same problem. Recommended, only if you actually WANT a product that will die on you in a few weeks. And wish to fund the Chinese military.

I bought this to charge the batteries for my Fujifilm X-S10 because I do not like charging batteries in camera. I do not have proof, but I feel like extended periods of heat from battery charging may limit the life of the camera - not taking any chances. The charger charges the batteries in about 2.5 hours.I would have given this charger 5 stars, but it's two-piece construction is a little odd. The plug portion that goes into the electrical outlet is a separate piece that needs to be connected to the main body of the charger. It snaps into place easy and can be removed, but I prefer my other camera's battery chargers, where they swing into position for charging, while staying permanently connected - no chance of losing any pieces.

This Fujifilm Battery Charger is well made and worked as specified. It arrived well-packed in a sturdy Fujufilm box which I can use for storage. I am glad that the charger did not include a hefty power cord. Fujifilm designers devised a two prong, polarized power plug that inserts into a 110v conventional household socket. This power plug must be assembled to the battery charger which is simple enough to do. The prongs do not fold away like those on Apple chargers or on Canon chargers. But, Fujifilm did provide a plastic cover for the prongs to protect them in storage or when packed for travel. (I think the designer may have intended to be able to provide a European plug assembly that could also fit the same charger.) I own a one-piece battery charger for my Lumix camera (model DE-A81B), it has folding or retractable electrical prongs. My Fujifilm Battery Charger model BC-W126S has a separate attachment with the electrical prongs that needs to be plugged into the main charger. This Fujifilm charger is cumbersome and may cause the attachment to be lost. If Panasonic can figure out how to do this, why can't Fujifilm?
To me, a separate battery charger is a 'must'; I cannot really understand why all manufacturers don't include one with every new camera as a matter of course (some do!). Without it, Fuji 'recommend' that the [X100VI] camera - with battery installed - be linked to a computer for charging, a process which, they say, can take upto five hours! With this battery charger the process is considerably less (I cannot say precisely, but somewhere in the region of 2 hours to fully charge an exhausted battery).Another big 'plus' is that the charger can be taken on one's travels, taking up very little space in a camera bag, for example.
I trust this charger more than other 3rd party chargers since it has 4 terminals but the plug design is not good. As many others have reported, why can't Fuji make the plug retractable in some way since all the other camera manufacturers have done it....
The charger works as advertised. I rated it only three stars for two reasons:1) the design is poor, as the plug detaches from the charging mechanism. I'm used to the Canon charger where the plug retreats into the housing. Perhaps that design is patented, but the Fuji design is inferior.2) after spending $1,399 for a camera, shouldn't a charger be included in the package. The need to attach the camera to a laptop to charge the battery is ridiculous.
In keeping with others, Fujifilm is not including chargers with their cameras any more. My X-S10 (new) came without one!I ordered one from B&H (great experience for years and prompt service and care)The charger is fine, works well but the earlier versions (E2S, E3) were better built (I have had a couple). Those had a cable which went into an outlet. The current version has a modular plug which is smaller to pack (no snaking cable) but seems a bit fragile. Instructions were sketchy. It works fine but I hope it holds up well over the years. This is one concern I did not have with earlier fujifilm chargers (for same battery). If the module breaks, I have no clue how difficult it would be to replace or what cost. So fingers crossed!
