Honestly I was expecting much more from the newly released Instax Wide. Basically 70 per cent of the images come out underexposed. The flash is far too weak, it is just a fill lighy. You need plenty of natural light to get a decent image, otherwise you are going to get very dimly lit images. My old Polaroid 690, now 40 years old, takes far better pictures in any light. Almost useless, unless you use it only in broad daylight.

I was happy to receive this gift! I always wanted one but never got to it! Decent camera, large in size. I’m still working on my angles and shots. With time I will get better. I like the color. In addition, the attachments like the shoulder brace and angle holder I could not get. Instructions were not clear enough for me to get. I can’t wait to use this camera to create more memories.

This instant camera is beautiful and very well-made. I didn’t expect it to be so HUGE but it’s for wide film/photos after all. I don’t believe this is an easy point and shoot camera or something in the same family as other instant cameras, there’s a bit of a learning curve. I struggled taking a focused and centered picture, and considering how expensive the film is, you don’t necessarily want to waste your film trying to figure out how to shoot a great picture, however with a little more time, I don’t think that would be an issue. I wouldn’t say this is the most portable of cameras, considering it’s ginormous. Battery life is fairly standard, I wish it was rechargeable.

Fantastic camera, cool green color, great photos!I wish you could turn off the flash for when it is not wanted, street/subway photography etc.But overall a great camera, very fun to use. Love that it uses standard AA batteries rather than harder to find lithiums. Popped into a 7/11 while out in the city for more batteries after they died, lithiums would've been harder to find.Great exposure, overall awesome results. Would recommend for sure!Cheaper to shoot than polaroid I-Type, and FAR superior results.
I already have the Instax Mini 40 which is a manual camera so this was fun to compare it to. I also don't have a wide Polaroid so I was excited to try it out in comparison to the minis. I was gracious to receive two packs of film so I took a bunch of pictures and have posted a few that are now staples on my fridge. You have to mess around with the lighting since it's an automatic camera, I definitely had some "flukes" that I tossed. One key is to make sure you aren't FACING a window while taking it, rather have your back to the window. Indoor with overhead lighting needs to be bright in order to capture a coherent image so darker lit rooms may give you some difficulty. The selfie lens is really nice, though I do not have it pictured, it allows you to take up close shots with a mirror so you can see if you're truly capturing yourself. There is a self timer that can be set in increments of 2 seconds up to 10. Once you roll this timer you still get time to click the shutter button. It won't just start counting down sporadically which is a really nice feature. Overall I'm definitely adding this to my Instax collection as it features many things my Mini 40 doesn't. It's nice to switch things up.

Excellent Point and Shoot instant camera!! We use it at a salon to take photos of clients and their stylists. People will actually let you take pictures with it since it is not digital! It will consistently deliver clear photos without a bad exposure wasting your film (if you don't cover the sensor!!) Its a huge bulky boxy camera which I think its cool, it feels substantial for a plastic camera. Forget all the negative youtube reviews from unsatisfied pro-amateurs gear channels who wanted more features. Honestly Fujifilm did this just right and it works every time without messing around with settings.
