I'm old enough to remember the Polaroid instant cameras, something that I thought was obsolete technology decades ago. My son picked up this Fuji Instax Mini camera and film packages. I love the look of this camera because it’s very old fashioned looking but honestly it’s not the very best there is considering price point. Some of the pictures I’ve taken the quality just isn’t great, others are really good, and some just come out black. I’ve seen other reviews of this camera doing that and I’m honestly not sure why it’s happened to me like three times now where I’ve taken a picture and it’s just black. Could I have some how made a mistake and it’s just operator error, absolutely, it’s only happened a few times but frustrating none the less when I don’t get the picture I thought I’d just taken and i don’t get that moment back and I can’t retake it.

I bought this instant camera for my son's birthday. He "instantly" fell in love with it. Must of ran through 2-3 packs of film in less than 2 hours... This model in particular really caught my eye because of its retro design. After playing with it in person when it arrived, the overall feel is plasticky which is kinda to be expected but I do wish some areas of the camera were higher quality so that it is more grippier. It's very lightweight. I wish they did some changes to some of the functions. The shutter button could be placed somewhere else slightly away from the viewfinder. And the viewfinder could be a bit bigger. It's super tiny to look out of. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. It's a new fun thing to have on our trips now.

I love the obstacle cameras. Very simple to use and cute. Pop the film in and shot. Also not over exposed like some cameras. Over all simple. Plus I love the vintage vibe it gives off. A good gift if you want to get your bang for your buck. Would highly recommend. Also Best Buy got my product to me sooner than expected.
It’s ok - best for close ups and indoors, but the quality of the photos is really variable / unreliable. Some too washed out, some too dark, sometimes blurred a bit. I even hide the photo from the light immediately as it comes out. I’m not sure if it’s the film or the camera but would like to try another model. Love the concept / usage otherwise - very fun!
So far, better and more reliable than the mini 11. It may cost a tad more but it's worth it.It looks good and feels sturdier than the preceding models. It may also seem a little less stylized, but I like its boxy quality.I miss having the features from the mini 10 but this is a better and more affordable replacement than the mini 11.
I boought this has a christmas gift for my girlfriend, it is the perfect thing to bring out at parties or on occasions to document it. You aren't going to get the picture quality of a modern smartphone but that is part of the charm of taking polaroid pictures. It is worth noting as well, the film has to be purchased seperatley which is why it gets 4 stars and not 5, quite suprising there isn't a handful of "starter" film
I purchased this camera in advance as a present and was preparing to gift it to a couple. When I went to go set it up, the camera wouldn't even push the test print out, and I tried setting it up with different batteries to test the strength of the camera. Really sad this product was defective. I have other Fuji(film) cameras, and I've never had that experience, hopefully this is just a one-off situation. I would like a full refund, considering I've purchased all the other accessories to go with it, but atleast a replacement would benefiticial.
Truly I don’t understand the bad reviews. This camera is meant to have a vintage look and feel to the photos you take. If you’re expecting $2000 quality photos, please don’t waste your time. If you’re looking for fun, vintage looking, automatic pictures you can keep for a lifetime, this your camera! I can’t recommend it enough. I took it to Greece with me and I’m obsessed with the memories I was able to capture.
Perfect! I purchased this for my adult daughter, because she loves instant cameras for tripping around the country with her boyfriend and others. She's had in a few weeks so far, and has already run thru an entire pack of film, and she'll be ordering more. The style is deliberately retro and she adores it! Quality is as to expected, not 8k but we all know that's not what the camera is for. Definitely worth it for the use it is intended for; capturing quick memories and having a small photo to keep close!
