The Fujifilm LH-XF35-2 lens hood is the proper finial for both the Fujifilm XF 23mm f/2.0 and Fujifilm XF 35mm f/2.0 lenses. Five stars THOUGH there is a bit of plastic lining the interior lumen of the hood where it mounts. Probably a good idea if one thinks about it a bit. The only real downside is the price. It?s too high, but you know that already and you like I, bought it anyway. It does look great on the lens. BTW, the subdued 23mm lens hood, original with the lens, isn't bad at all and well made. A center pinch lens cap works well with the metal hood. Enjoy!

I bought this because the stock hood did not allow for me to use my B+W circular polarizing filter, which is kind of thick. With this hood, it fits just fine. The reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 has nothing to do with its quality - the quality is 5 stars. My issue is that this overpriced lens hood should come stock with the lenses it fits, even if that takes the lens price up a bit. The stock hood is basically useless - only the slimmest filters fit, it's plastic, it offers very little protection, and it doesn't seem to provide much flare protection. Why does Fuji even bother with it? This hood should come standard.

The silver version of Fujifilm's X-T2/3/4 is probably the prettiest camera you can buy, an homage to beautiful mechanical cameras of the film era. Fuji's lovely matching compact silver 23 mm f/2 and 35 mm f/2 lenses are works of art. This handsome black-flocked aluminum hood is the perfect companion. I don't think it will make your photographs a lot better; but it dresses up a beautiful camera/lens just a little bit more.I'm reminded of a review of a Lexus automobile 20 years back. The reviewer praised the lovely stitching on the little leather sun shield that could be lowered to block the space above the rear view mirror, noting it was basically a useless feature, but was so nicely executed it was still a source of delight. This lens hood is like that.

I purchased this silver hood to complement my silver XF 35 f/2 lens. The hood that shipped with the lens not consistent with the build of the lens. It was a tiny, black finished, screw-mounted hood. The lens was an anniversary present, and I wanted the silver hood for its appearance as well as its utility..The hood has a bayonet mount and is beautifully machined and finished. It attaches easily and securely. I've had no problems with flare or wash outs in spite of frequent shots where the sun position could have been a factor. I have no reason to remove it since the entire package fits easily into my bag including when the lens is mounted on my X-E2..The product is probably overpriced, but this seems to be consistent with other Fuji-branded accessories. It's worth the price to me, but your milage may vary. The XF 23 f/2 is on my radar, and this hood will fit that lens as well.Adorama had my order for several months while this hood was out of stock. They handled the entire transaction with a very high level of customer service.
I got my first order and tried it on my XF 23mm. The hood had a noticeable slight wiggle when I moved my camera. The small stock lens hood has the perfect fit. B&H promptly exchanged it, and I'm grateful for B&H's service. The new hood fits better, but it still had a tiny clearance which I'm fine with. Thanks B&H!
I looked at the off brand ones . I got it for my silver 23 f2 mounted on my silver xe4 . The off brand ones was ugly branding on them or fit loose . Things I can't deal with . Just got this thing in the mail today and it's perfect . Perfect color match. Just buy it if you are on the fence .
This fits both the 23mm f/2.0 and the 35mm f/2.0 lens. i bought this to help protect my lens. I have stopped using a filter after watching several Youtube videos about a filter being protection. Some say it is, many say that a good lens hood is better protection plus you get the full advantage of the wonderful lens that the hood is placed on. I had to wait for this to be back in stock at B&H but it was well worth the wait. Once it was back in stock, 3 days later it was on the end of my lens.
This improves the appearance and possibly function over the dippy little hood included with the lens. The size of the original was bad enough but they include a black hood with the silver lens. It looked ridiculous. The price is way too high but it’s almost a necessary expense.
I bought this to replace the plastic hood on an XF 35mm F2. The plastic hood had to screw into the filter threads, which I wasn’t crazy about. There was also a “cool” factor about the vented hood. The one thing keeping it from 5 stars is the fact that there is a slight amount of play in the connection- not so much that it rattles when carrying or interferes with shooting, but enough that you notice when holding it during shooting. Totally worth it still.
While I love the 35mm f2 WR and its 23mm brother, they both looked a little odd with the tapered profile, like something was missing. The plastic lens hood that was included with the lens is fine, but feels cheap and doesn't match the build quality of the lens. Once I attached this lens hood to them, they feel complete. I love the classic range-finder aesthetic, oh, and I supposed they do a better job with reducing glare and protecting the lens from drops but let's be honest, its all about looks. Quality of construction is top notch (I love that they are metal not plastic) and they clip onto the lens very securely. I was a bit put off by the $50 price tag, but now that I own them its totally worth it.
