The Fujifilm X-E4 is a good entry-level camera for those who are just starting out in photography. Its minimalist design lends it nicely for street photography. The various dials and knobs in the settings can be a bit daunting, but for amateurs, it is a boon since most defaults are often enough -- just set the aperture and exposure modes to "auto", and you're good to go.It could use a hand-grip though, for one-hand shooting, because at times you might get nervous that it would just slip off. Just make sure to strap it on so your camera is safe.

I bought this camera as a second camera to take away on holiday as my DSLR is in need of repair. I was looking for a camera which was reasonably powerful and not too heavy,What can I say I have used it almost everyday since. I enjoy using it.

I own a few Fujifilm cameras (I started with an X-E1 but this is the only other X-E range I bought since then). Ideal pocket size with the 27mm lens but with the added flexibility of interchangeable lenses if you want to carry extra. Quick to focus, good image quality. The rear selector button / toggle is a little lower than I would have liked but no big deal. Lack of other buttons means you have to make more use of the menus and/or Q button but that's a given when buying a camera with minimal buttons.
Pros: Stylish, size, weight, image quality, features. Haven't been able to use all features yet, but am working on it!Cons: Not quite as intuitive to use as my Sony A7II, but I bought the X-E4 to use mainly for street photography and so know that I will get to grips with it eventually.
Pros: Very compact for an interchangeable lens camera. Has great sensor and processor making it as capable as Fuji’s top flight offerings. Great colour science and not too complicated to use.Cons: Eye relief on EVF could be better.
I bought this as both an alternative street camera to my X100F, when I need something different to the 23mm lens, and as a backup to my X-T4. It works perfectly for this purpose. The X-E4 is incredibly light and compact whilst having the same sensor and processor as the X-T4. Although the X-E4 lacks IBIS and a second card slot (not surprising in a package this small) it more than makes up for this with superb image quality. I also love the range of film type simulations and the flip up back screen. Finally, the 27mm pancake lens is a great lens to keep on the X-E4 as it still keeps the overall package nice and small, and pocketable.
Pros: The best value for every penny…my go to camera for anything reallyCons: The grip
Compact, lightweight and love the tilting lcd. Quality of camera and lens far outshines the price.
Bought as a carry around camera rather than using the phone camera. Replaced an X-20 so already familiar with the Fujifilm eco system which is fairly intuitive and straightforward to figure out, because, as is common, there is only a limited manual supplied (full manual online). Excellent compact size fits in a jacket pocket. Fully controlled options for focus & exposure to be as auto or manual as you wish. Flip up screen excellent and [my first] EVF works well. Use for landscape using the EVF and the screen for street where you get the benefit of lower angle with flip screen. First rate build quality, feels robust and sturdy. 26mm kit lens is wonderfully compact and a dream to use. Recommend, only improvement would be to add weather sealing to camera.
