My dog is a 90lb chesapeake bay retriever. She has a very water resistant coat and sheds two times a year in spades- I'm talking clumps of fur hanging off her haunches. Nothing beats regular brushing and a grooming rake, but this conditioner (even moreso than the accompanying shampoo) is amazing at loosening up the shed so it brushes right out. Bonus- it sinks into her fur and leaves it extra soft and clean. This is my go to dog conditioner.

This spray always smells super good and is great for a brushing in between my dogs baths. Never leaves a residue behind and is very affordable just like the rest of the furminator line. My huskies love being brushed with this on. They will lay there for an hour and let me brush them. I 100 percent recommend this for anyone with huskies or a double coated dog!

This product is AMAZING! I have an Aussie with beautiful fur. She sheds like crazy in the warmer months. This conditioner controls some of the shedding and makes her fur very soft. It also works well for my short fur American bully. His fur sheds a lot also. Both dogs are very shiny and soft after use. The smell is also nice.

We were looking for a new possible shampoo for our dogs because the shedding is just out of control. Saw this Furminator shampoo & conditioner at PetSmart so we figured we'd give it a try. Apparently it worked wonders when washing our golden, because a lot of hair came off. Fast forward a few days, and she has a scab on her back that made her wince when I touched it, and we keep finding more - my husband says "they're all over her back"Extremely disappointed in this and would never recommend to anyone - I'll actually make sure to tell people to steer clear of this one.

Furminator Shampoo/Conditioner

We use Furminator on the smallest Pomeranians to the largest Newfoundlands and we always have great results. I have used other deshed products and have found they don’t work as well as Furminator. The plus about Furminator is smell good also, but not too heavy of a scent and customers always rave about how soft their pets are!

Gave my dog dry skin

I bought this a couple months ago didn’t really think of the shampoo being the problem of my dogs dry skin and his fur falling out. I have a husky and most of his under coat has fallen out to where you can actually see his skin in some places under his fur. His whole body is extremely dry and flakey. I just gave him a bath last week and have noticed 2 more patches pop up after none have popped up for a while because I took him to the vet. This is the first time he’s gotten new ones since the bath. Definitely mad that it took me this long to figure it out. But I don’t recommend this product if your dog has sensitive skin. It suppose to help skin & coat and it definitely did not do that for my dog.

I bought this a week ago, to bathe my 4 dogs who absolutely hate baths. Luckily the day warm enough to convince them that they would probably enjoy a nice rub down. So I made it a point to take my time w/each one of them, especially during the de-shedding conditioning process!! I probably let it sit for 10 mins while combing.The smell was great & they loved the constant brushing. After a nice rinse and pat down. I combed them down once more & let them run wild to air dry. By evening time, once they were dry, they were NOTICEABLY happy doggos, playing as a group, no scratching or lazy energy. Their coats have never looked better! Yes, even after 1 wash.

Katie tries to cooperate but she doesn't really like being confined in the tub.This is an excellent if expensive product and you don't have to use that much of it for happy results so unless you are bathing an Old English Sheep Dog you can expect to get several baths out of one bottle making it well worth the cost.I will definitely buy this product again.PS it has a nice fresh slightly coconut scent and caused zero irritation.

It works!

I read the reviews struggling with shedding hair from an Alaskan Huskey. Tip, the bathing brush I saw after the fact, this would have been a great tool to go along with such a dense undercoat. The brush we had really want effective. Didn’t splurge for the expensive undercoat brush went with the wire brush that looks more like a human hair brush. After drying I slowly worked combing off and on after the bathing. Undercoat is completely gone! In the matter of one day instead of weeks. Petting without falling hair. Coat looks beautiful! Going to get the spray from the same company for any touch ups. If you work at combing, it comes out so easily!! Best product!
