My cocker spaniel is prone to matts in his ears and I needed something in between grooms to get rid of them. Detangling spray and Combing through took too long and wasn't well tolerated. This was quick and painless and his ears are now matt free. Well worth the money and investment. Definitely recommend.

Have had many dematting tools before. This is the first with an adjustable depth. Whilst other tools would either be too short or too long in part depending on where I'm using on my Cocker Spaniel (ears vs skirt); being able to adjust the depth on a single tool has made this now a lot simpler.
My cocker spaniel is prone to matts in his ears and I needed something in between grooms to get rid of them. Detangling spray and Combing through took too long and wasn't well tolerated. This was quick and painless and his ears are now matt free. Well worth the money and investment. Definitely recommend.

I have a Zuchon who has a thick undercoat that tangles easily into knots that tug and pull on the skin making her very uncomfortable, taking the tangles out can be a painful experience for her after a muddy walk. With this FURminator tool I can easily adjust the head to work on different parts of her body like the legs or neck and it easily de-tangles all the undercoat without causing my dog any pain or discomfort. Grooming is a more bonding experience now.
This does exactly what it says on the tin - , safely and easily removes matted hair. My Spaniels have their feathering and it can become matted very quickly particularly behind the ears and elbows. This tool does a good job at removing the matted fur. I like it!
Bit tricky to use at first but once you get the hang of using it it is great on matter hair, my spaniels are always dragging their ears on the ground constant sniffers nose down. I'd rather stand & work through the matts with this as resort to constantly having to use the trimmer to get the matts out obv it takes time & patients to get through them but it does work better than just a comb, I was pleasantly surprised with it.
The Adjustable dematter tool is great I used this on both my dogs and cat. I found it safely removed the matted hair and the pets were relaxed when I was doing it. So all in all it's an excellent tool.
Our dog, having longer golden retriever fur, tends to get matting behind his ears and back of legs. This tool has helped a lot with removing matted spots in these sensitive areas. It took a few tries to get used to how to use it properly for his comfort but once we figured out the best way we have never looked back. Does a wonderful job with getting the matted spots out and not removing a lot of additional fur in the process.
My cats were very unhappy with this tool. Despite their thick hair it didn't seem to remove the loose hair very well and they appeared uncomfortable when I used it on them. I ran my finger along the edge of the teeth and it seemed hard and a bit sharp so won't be using this again.
My long haired Maine Coone cat is prone to matted fur underneath. I used to use nail scissors to remove them and was always so worried about nipping her skin. This tool is brilliant for working the mat out with no chance of accidentally hurting the cat.
