I used to use rubber brushes for my short haireds but it just wasn't cutting it for my new pup who has turned into a super shedder. This brush worked wonders on my 15kg short haired mix breed pup with no undercoat. She started shedfing like mad when Spring hit but this brush was amazing and has kept our clothes mostly fur free. Our pup is also less itchy from loose fur and she feels cleaner after brushing.
Our Lab puppy is having her first coat blow so I'm a bit shocked even though I knew about it. I saw this as a treatment at the groomer so thought I'd buy one. Works a million times better than a slicker brush. I use it once she is dry after a wash and then one a week. Noticeably reduces the fur around the house but doesn't eliminate it.
I've owned 3 of these now (none have broken as they're very well made, I just keep losing them) and they've all been fantastic. I've got a long hair german shepherd who sheds like crazy, and this brush helps with that like nothing else. I've used a number of different brushes and nothing else compares. If you've got a dog with a double coat and a shedding issue, the expense is definitely worth it
Our girl is not keen on her rear end being brushed, and her coat gets matted. We have found that this is so easy to use, she doesn't love it but is more tolerant than she is with a brush. Plus it does a better job of getting rid of the excess hair. Her brother, loves it and he seems to realise that it has got rid of those knots that Border Collies get. Really recommend
This works amazing well for shedding dogs and is very gentle on their skin and coat. The brush is very high quality and really durable. I definitely recommend investing in the furninator over other deshedding brushes as this will last fur-ever!
I?m heavily pregnant with our 3rd baby and up until now I've been vacuuming sometimes twice a day. Our golden retriever cross sheds so much hair that I would find balls of it floating around the house only a day after vacuuming. We've just used this deshedding tool for the first time and are amazed at how much hair it was able to get off him. We might have to use it twice a week as he sheds quite a bit, but now I can get away without vacuuming daily. His coat and body actually looks great after a good brush, too, a little bonus! Recommend!
I luv this brush... until I realised there was 1 tooth missing and next use lost a few more teeth. The high tensile steel has a tendency to snap- which has been dangerous when it has as has thrown out at speed sharp metal brush tips the size of large spliters 😥 Not sure if I just received an already broken one? Or whether it's metal was already ready to splinter off... but it has barely done a few weeks grooming since I first used it and am really unhappy with it. Is a pity- because the concept is brilliant.. and first go it took out more dandruff and stuff than any other brush I'd used before. But I can't get past the fact how quickly such an pricey brush broke. I do like the idea of the brush- maybe I just got unlucky 😥
