These boots are super comfortable and very water proof. I collect milk from farms and have to hose out vats everyday and now my socks and feet are dry. Very happy with these boots and these sellers and web site. Highly recommend

I purchased the FXD WB1 around 4 weeks ago. I was looking for another boot made by FXD and came across these on sale $70 cheaper than a local bricks and mortar store. So far loving the comfort and the extra support of the high boot. I am on my feet all day crouching, squatting, climbing etc.One of the reasons I went for this boot was for the composite cap, hoping for a lighter boot. But after weighing these, they are very similar in weight to my bloodstone Chelsea slip-on steel caps (I use for wet work). But they are a pretty big boot after all! I did have a very light pair from another Australian manufacturer, but they did wear out pretty quickly. I reckon I will get significantly longer wear out of these, they seem pretty sturdy. The soles of the boots are rather stiff and when walked in for couple of hours my feet become sore. It's a pity they are not more flexible and softer. When I purchased my last pair of work boots, ( different brand )I don't have that problem.

Like the fit and support, bad ankle needs all the support it can get. Tried others this was the best. Zip could be at a greater angle to assist on and off. Needs a better kick off piece at the heel to assist with the same
Great boot, nice and comfortable. Supports your ankles well and can pass through airport security with no trouble. Fast shipping as well. Would highly recommend these boots.
I've owned this boot for around 6 months now, so wanted to put it through it's paces before reviewing. It's held-up really well and gets much more comfortable with age - it's still getting more comfortable, actually! If you have super-wide feet or super-high arches (or both, like me), I recommend lacing these really loosely for comfort in the width - the lace position will hold well and you can just use the side zip to get them on and off with no messing around. Seems to be wearing really well - the scuff guard on the toe is really generously sized, so I can kick tools and timber around when my DIY isn't working out, without trashing the boots! Recommended.
I have been wearing steel blue 539 for last 8 years, 1 X pair every new financial year. I decided to live dangerously and try the fxd's out.I'm in week 3 now and I've noticed that they are nowhere near as good as the 539's. My hips out, I'm constantly dropping my heal, they don't breath well, and all I won to do is get them off at end of the day. The good thing about the steel blues was a I could literally walk all day and that were comfy as.I have been told I have flatter feet than Bilbo Baggins so the fxd's may actually work for you, but for myself, I'm now.looking to budget to just get some 539's again.
So comfortable. Takes a while to wear in, but good dubin speeds it up. Fair price. Brought them specifically to wear through airport security screening without having to take them off. Get though with zero problems.
What a strong tough boot at first impression!! I've always been a steel blue girl, but thought I'd try something different...... initial impression is WOW! Ask me again in a years time 😜
I have never been so unimpressed with a pair of work boots in my life. The entire sole is separating from the base of the shoe after less than 2 months of wear. My feet get saturated just walking on short wet grass (and this is before the sole started ripping off). They tear the skin off the back of my feet and leave me red raw with blisters (and no, it definitely isn’t just a matter of ‘wearing them in’). I have bought $60 Kmart boots that have performed better than these boots. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT BUY THESE OVER PRICED PAPERWEIGHTS. WORST PAIR OF WORK BOOTS EVER MADE. PERIOD.(Will be calling up Workwear Hub tomorrow to discuss what their refund/return policy entails)
