This is by far my favorite square special edition. Gold lettering, gold negative display, good basic functions, great price, and a soft comfortable band compared to a normal dw5600. The black water theme looks so cool in person as well. I was also pleased to see that is made in Thailand and not China. I am so happy I bought this watch, I already added some mods to make it my own. I added some gold bull bars and a strap just to save those beautiful factory bands ??

I have been wanting and watching this G-Shock Casio watch ⌚️ for a long time on Walmart Clermont at Johns Lake Road. Convinced my wife yesterday to buy it and bought it yesterday. My wrist is big but I love this watch in spite the dial is smaller than the other G-Shock watches. I love the design, Chronometer, Countdown timer, several alarms⏰️, the hourly chime, 200 meter water resistant and Shock resistant. I also love the resin band. I think I will reccomend this watch to anyone. Goes along well with the rest of my G-Shock Watches Collection.

The resin seemingly lasts forever and the watch it’s self is a polycarbonate which is not only stronger...it’s lighter and thinner though they look the same from the exterior. These new ones (this came out in 96) have a much better EL backlight as well. What makes this truly great is the features. It has everything you need and nothing you don’t. Time/day/date, countdown timer, alarm, stopwatch...and it shows the current time in all modes...the only g shock with this feature. It’s also very stylish with its retro 80s appearance.Can’t say too many great things bout this watch. If you want a tough, go anywhere, do anything accurate and reliable time piece look no further. It’s the best watch money can buy

Hated the display and it picked up over 5 seconds a day. I reset it several times and it was always off the next day and within a week it was about 1/2 a minute fast. I have several Casio watches and they are all good to within a few seconds for weeks. It was a striking G-Shock with the blacked out face and bezel but not being able to read it was a real problem. The black display was the real killer for me. Outdoors it was tolerable but even with the backlight indoors it was a pain to try to read.
These watches I mean G shock are great value for the money, comfortable, tough. I've broken, scratched so many watch lenses. now I will not need to worry about that. This particular buy, came with instructions how to use the watch, and it's original boxing. Great buy, and arrived very quickly.
This has to be one of the coolest watches ever! Ruggedly good-looking, very functional, and loads of fun!. I bought this watch for one of my kids and it really has a cool factor due to its reputation for being indestructible. This watch is a reissue of the original look and design and I really think (and so do my kids) that it is truly amazing! Great job as always Casio!!!
Diane, this is - an extremely fine watch. Quite the impressive piece of technology. Now, I love its shock-resistant design, it's a reliable companion for every day adventurers. The digital display is easy to read. Backlight - bright! About as bright as its classic design, which will never go out of style. Overall, I would highly recommend this timepiece to anyone in need of a durable and stylish watch.
This is my first G shock watch. I was looking for an old school simple but reliable digital watch and this seems to be the standard model but in black on black. I thought it would be more hefty but I have nothing to compare it to. $50 price is kinda steep but only time will tell. Ive had other more expensive watches that would break due to my rough use so if this works for more than a year w/o issues then its well worth it. I would buy this as a gift w/o hesitation. Its hard to read w/o good lighting, but thats what the back light button is for. I like the way it looks the more I look at it on my wrist. Plan on ordering more to give away as gifts. Great price but no box nor manual. Simple but looks very cool.
I previously had one of these watches and loved it. After many years I accidentally broke the band and have now replaced it. The Casio G-Shock is the only digital watch I've ever liked. It's easy to set, it keeps extremely accurate time, and it puts up with my mistreatment as though nothing happened. I've worn it in the shower, dropped it on hard ground, and it still hasn't missed a beat. I don't often use the stopwatch, alarm and timekeepers, but they have come in handy when I've needed them. I usually wear dress watches when I go to important functions, but for everyday knock-around wear this digital watch is perfect.

Able to withstand anything you can throw at it. 200 meter water resistant, 10 story drop tested, a loaded semi drove over one and....yep it still works. If it's good enough for NASA and the U.S. military, well it's good enough for me. The 2yr battery life is a bit poor, but hey, get one for $1 and change it yourself. I customized mine with a bit of paint, a polarizing film for negative display and a Bull bar, all for under $15 extra. Even looks good on a slender 6.5 inch wrist. My favorite "get stuff done" watch. I've been through 3 beater watches in 6 months before I bought my G-shock, only regret is not getting it sooner.
