The watch itself is fantastic. The rainbow lens looks really nice outdoors and in well-lit offices, but can make the watch a bit harder to read in low light conditions. I can usually make out the watch hands, but the small LCD screen is much harder to use. In the same conditions an F91w is perfectly readable.The Sun Reflect version of the watch is stunning to see in person, and it's what I'd pick if given the chance. If you're worried about not being able to tell the time in the dark, at least consider the non-rainbow version.

This is genuinely a stylish G Shock model. I made the foolish mistake of selling it several years ago and bought a smart watch. When I viewed this watch online again, I realized that I had to get it back into my collection. The mirror finish and the purple and black color really work so well together. I bought this watch as a "Pre-Owned", but it was well maintained. I cleaned it up and it looks great, almost like new. I remember why I loved it the first time I got it. Now it is staying in my permanent collection.

Firstly - yes there is enormous amount of glare and at first watch is difficult to read because of the reflective surface of face, but it only takes 15 seconds to figure out the angle you need to look at it and it's perfectly readable (so I don't get why some people would rate it only 1 star - ridiculous considering the quality - probably not competent enough to value the watch and it's design...)Watch is well made, materials feel premium grade, colours are gorgeous and it is an eye catcher (all my friends and family noticed it).This is a perfect "friday vibe" watch, to be worn during less busy times of very busy people like myself.A true 5 star worth every penny.

Decent watch with plenty of functions, not too bulky in spite of the dimensions. However... the watch strap is very short. I don't have particularly thick wrists, but I'm on the last hole of the strap! On other makes of watches I own, there are still 3 or 4 holes spare. Also, the instruction manual is poor. Really difficult to read for a start, and not logical. Surely the first instructions should cover how to set up the watch straight out of the box, NOT fix minor adjustments for a watch that's already set up?
I found setting the time when it arrived impossible. Eventually a neighbour managed to do it for me but found it difficult. I went on holiday to Greece and couldn't not change to local time yet when I returned it reset itself to 40 minutes out of GMT. I have tried, my neighbour has tried and my cousin - who owns a GShock has tried. None of us can do it. So my watch does not display an accurate time therefore it is useless. Like a fool I discarded the packaging etc and I have not had the time yet to figure out how to return it. But I won't buy another. Casio here I come.
Entry level steel G-Shock it's what it is. I love the crazy detail of the watch if you look closely. It's a G - Shock so I won't get into the quality of the components etc, instead - I'll share the feelings I have towards it. Call me weird but this is my Monday watch, when I need that little bit of patting on the back (or writst, lol). It goes perfectly with semi casual outfit as well as blends in nicely with sport t-shirts. It's an eye catcher, too. It has a bit of luxurious hint to it despite being a budget timepiece, which is a bonus obviously. In general it is my second G-Shock and I am sure the family will get bigger in time!

The only downside of this watch is that the LED digits are extremely small and dark to see, making it necessary to angle the watch against the ambient light to read them. An attractive design, solid construction, not absurdly large (as so many G-shocks can be), not laughably over-designed and festooned in bolt-heads, comfortable to wear, and both looks and feels more expensive than it is.
