Good fortune prevails and I was able to acquire this piece, I already have GA-2100-1ER but wanted the flash of colour, solar and Bluetooth.This is a great little G-Shock, the hands and dial are easy to read and unlike the 1ER so is the LCD. The bright colour and flashes of red and blue make the overall appearance distinctive. The GA B2100 1AER arrived before I could draw breath. When I did open the box, a lovelier watch than I'd expected, was lifted out, fitting my boney, 6" wrist in a really cool way and is extremely wearable! Setting the time - well my dream came true; slick! Selecting the city also smooth, though the buttons are firm.Cons: (The alternative quartz GMA S2100 1AER without solar, may be as practical!) A solar watch is good, but I also have a normal watch, so it won't be on all the time!The day display is digital! Not identical to the rose gold pointer set-up, (GA B2100 - my error). However, the day display is easy to read.20BR water resistance. A rugged, beautiful watch, with fearures. š
Glad I went for the positive display rather than one with the negative display, much easier to read. Bluetooth function make setting up the watch easy through the Casio Watches App. The G-Shock Connected app wasn't uprgraded to cover these newer versions. The solar function means no battery changes, and the G-Shock protection and 200M Water resistance means you can wear it whatever you're doing. One thing that could be better is the automatic synchronisation times as unless you're up before 0630 with your phone on, or still up at 0030 AM it only gets two chances a day to connect. The watch is very comfortable to wear and easy to read and the upgraded backlighting is really good at night. All in all an excellent watch for the money.

I bought this as a summer daily wearer, the yellow seeming perfect for the warmer months. In particular, I wanted something that could take the knocks of daily wear, and the g-shock has not disappointed. It takes a little while to get to grips with the Bluetooth setting up, but once that is sorted the whole package makes brilliant sense. I had more comments about it in the first fortnight than I did about my entire watch collection put together ever. Only thing Iād change is the battery and function indicator sub dial: the colours makes it difficult to read in all but the brightest of environs. However, I would definitely recommend!

Love the Casio neon/virtual blue GA-2100 but it's not solar powered so a deal breaker sadly. The Japanese market offers more choice generally.This little black number, with red and blue accents is lovely though and gets lots of wrist time! Have been waiting for a solar powered Casio 'Oak' for a long time (as I don't like having to have batteries changed) so when I saw this online I has to order as it's still not available in stores. Excellent service from the Casio shop and delivered within 2 days of my order being placed. My fears that it may wear too big for my 6.25'' wrist were unfounded (wears the same as my GW-M5610, same strap as well I think?) and it's as light, comfortable and tough as you'd expect. Set up I found very difficult at first due to the lack of printed instructions so I had to find a Youtube video about it. Very light and comfortable to wear, clear face readings with great personalisation abilities. I have had no irritation from the strap. I've an 8inch wrist and this watch sits on very neatly and because of its slim line it presents no problem when you want to wear less casual cloathing.Reliability; its only been 1 month but time keeping appears excellent.
