A great looking watch that counts my steps and doesn’t need to be charged??? - No way! I originally wanted this watch just for its style. The step counting was a bonus but now I find myself checking my step count more often that I’m checking the time. Easy to use, looks great and doesn’t need to be charged daily like all the ‘fitness’ watches that people only use for the time and steps anyway. Easy to connect to the Casio app, which is easy to use and has watch instructions.Definitely recommended.

I shipped this internationally (from Australia) and it shipped in just over a week, several days before expected. The watch itself is great, quality and stylish. My only problem is that one of the clip pieces is plastic, bur apart from that, great watch and great shipping.

Practical, the step tracker and the Bluetooth functions are very handy. Exceptionally smart design on the interval timer capabilities. The strap is very good for the price segment of this watch, even though the pin buckle is plastic. Watch is not very large as well. The minute and hour hands against the dark greyish dial offer excellent legibility. On the cons, the negative digital display which is kind of small.

I know the look is 'all black', but there is some grey on the dial in places. The indexes done likewise in grey would have helped a lot with functionality (a primary objective with these watches), yet still kept the overall theme.The band is improved on earlier models in being rubberized so more flexible that straps of pure plastic. Unfortunately it's let down by a lame plastic buckle, reminiscent of cheap Swatch watches of the 1980s. I appreciate that this watch is less expensive than other models in the range, so economies need to be balanced out, but even Fitbit watches have a full steel buckle. Being intended for sports activity, one might have hoped for at least that much. G-Shock have upped their game a lot since their early years and one of their double-clawed buckles would have made the watch that much better and preserved their reputation for quality.This watch is Bluetooth and can be paired to your phone, using the G-Shock app. This allows the collection of activity data from the watch and presents it back to help you follow trends etc. If you do use the app, be prepared for the phone to update the time as per your phone. This might seem a good thing, to keep the watch's accuracy honed (as a quartz it can vary by up to 15 seconds a month)- but this only works if your phone network provider is giving you the correct time. If it's not, then you just knock your watch out by a couple of minutes every time you connect to your phone! Consequently I have taken to not using the app at all. Given this pairing facility is conceived to replace the atomic time updating via a limited string of masts with mixed coverage, it sounds brilliant. Just got off a flight? Simply turn your phone on in Arrivals, press to connect and your watch time is updated to local- Superb but for the glaring problem that the time isn't precise. Casio have shot themselves well and truly in the foot here. If the app could be improved, running with their own time, not the phone providers this could be rectified for all existing customers.I was of course aware of this issue with the flawed app when I bought the Mudmaster, but bought this watch anyway. I love the G-Shocks for all their utilitarian capabilities and the step counter us useful enough stand-alone.Notwithstanding the minor touches to to the indexes and the buckle, it's a good purchase... when they put some serious though into upgrading the app, it'll be a great one. If those minor touches had been thought through, it would have been perfect.

I absolutely love this watch! It looks incredible and fits nicely. I’ve not played around with the features too much but as a stand-alone, without the features - it’s a solid time piece.My watch came with a dead battery however, but the team were happy to reimburse me for my expense.
Have been using the watch for months now, it's been reliable, easy to use, and pleasant to wear, even during sweaty workouts. The step counter is great, syncs up with the app via Bluetooth without issues. Although the watch is bulky, it looks nice on my lady arm. :D
Dear Matt black looks very slick!Chunky but not too, but if you’re not used to chunky watches, go and try before you buy.The only part of the instructions and app I can’t work out is which button to to press to locate my phone- the rest is quite straightforward but far easier setting on your phone than the watch as the font is quite small.
This watch is very useful at the gym. It is also very durable and absorbs at least minor hits without problem and without a single scratch. It is true that the hands block the digital at the bottom, but it is a minor inconvenience.The feature of counting laps is very useful at the gym. The watch change by itself to the summer time (if you set it to do so) which is very convenient.The watch is also very light compared to the size which is big. The look is sporty and fashion. I recommend this product. The only downside is the price, though it is in the limit of the affordable.
