First time giving a G Shock a go. I typically only wear automatic divers watches but figured everyone needs at least one G Shock in their collection. It wears large even for a big wrist but comfortable. Love the analogue face with minimal digital screen and was one of the main reasons I went with the Mudmaster. Have found the features really handy.Never bought from Watch Direct before but purchase was smooth with no issues and good postage speed and packaging. Would have no hesitation buying from them again.

The temp sensor gives a false reading if you're wearing it though so to get the correct temp you might need to take it off. Despite the poor back lighting and below average quality lume for a mid priced watch, I'd go as far as saying it is still the best watch I have ever owned regardless of price. It is very durable and reliable. The band is exceptionally well designed and despite being large fits very nicely.

The Casio MudMaster GWG series are brilliant watches! I have mostly collected Stainless Steel Divers watches over the years with most being automatic mechanical movements. But after discovering the joys of a good G-Shock I am now a fan. My first experience was a GG-1000 model which is half the price of the GWG version but still a great watch. I have now owned a couple of the GWG models trying to get a good deal on the 1A3 with the military Green strap which I now have with this one. It is by far the most popular in the line up. It's the top of the range in MudMasters and has a Sapphire Crystal and Solar Power etc. I like a big bulky watch and this one is certainly that! Casio genuine bands are very high quality - far superior to non genuine. These are rugged watches and the bands are designed by Casio to be superior in strength and durability to match the watch. I have a black Casio GWG-1000. I needed a black replacement band but found this genuine Casio green band at nearly half the price. It actually looks better on my black watch I think. I notice the GWG-1000 could be optioned new with a green band from Casio if you wanted one. I now need a green bezel to match the green band LOL. The band being genuine is top notch. The original band lasted since 2015 or 2016 and was still hanging in there but was just starting to split where it gets bent back each day when I put in on and take it off. Not bad for 8 years of continuous use.

This watch is everything and more, I am a big fan of the Gshock brand, and this watch is pure GSHOCK, but a different class. Stacked with class, stacked with features, and stacked on my wrist. A big watch, but as I actually have bigger its not just huge for the sake of it. Clear and easy to set up, heavy enough to feel the quality, a light bright enough to see every detail, and all the gadgets any watch lover could want or need. This watch is an absolute Beast. This is the kind of watch I imagine a G-Shock to be. It is absolutely stunning it is built like a tank and it's just one heck of a large watch. This is the kind of watch that every time you raise it up to you to see what time it is, it will just make you smile and very happy that you have it on your wrist. The illumination of the watch may be it's only slight negative but everything else about it is just a home run. Seriously this is a very handsome, sturdy, and rugged watch.
