Very unhappy with this purchase. I bought several of these in different sizes, and they came in many boxes that weren't marked in any way that I could understand which box went with which planter. I attempted to return them, but missed the return window date by a few days. Very unhappy with the quality (unstable,) and with the poor instructions and package labeling. I don't recommend these to anybody!

Love these planters. I purchased in order to create a border to a garden and the sloping yard beyond the garden. It has worked out well and still looks relatively level. If it doesn't look level, it is my fault, I had a hard time with that part of the project, I lined the interior part with landscaping fabric so that I could fill with soil and then filled the outside with rocks from around my property. Overall, I really like the affect,

I found this well-made and sufficiently strong for the purpose. The metal sides did start to bow a little when filling with stones but this was remedied with continual small adjustments, eg pulling the side into line then adding stone to maintain the shape. The result looks great. Instructions are minimal, I was glad I'd had previous experience of the spiral fixings. Perhaps the main caution is that it needs a huge quantity of stones. My garden is full of flint and the gabion is great for making decorative use of it, but I wouldn't have liked to have to buy it all in. So might be a good idea to calculate the volume and cost to start with. Overall I'm delighted with the planter and will definitely consider buying more from this range.

The grids are not thick enough, I had to cut the grid inside to get the space to put the pebbles around. Too bad the fence is not flat on the ground to define the rectangle of the gardener. It lacks large iron rods to hold between them large rectangles, and small to hold the stones, because on the ground, it tends to depart. Too bad I wait for the earth to fill the tray. I was expecting something easier to assemble, it was necessary to calculate the lengths. Lack of written explanations and in French
I'm satisfied with the product, especially as it was a good price from this company. Instructions were terrible, incomprehensible illustrations, and I initially thought parts were missing till I realised the planter has no base, it is a four-sided frame sitting inside a slightly larger four-sided frame leaving a 100 mm gap all round for the stones. It's wobbly but tightens up as you put the stones in. Needs a large amount of stones - I reckon about 1,000 kg. They need to be quite large not to fall out. I've ordered 80-120 mm size. I think it will need about 1200 litres of compost. Edges are sharp, so beware.
The gabions are of good quality however it is necessary to strengthen the junction between 2 grids by clips VR22 and bought in addition to the tie rods because not enough provided ... additional shot to predict. In addition the tie rods of 10cm to put between the ground and pebbles are impossible to find in the trade so they must be manufactured. Even the supplier of gabions is not able to get us extra. What a disappointment !!
Easy to assemble once you get the hang of it and looks good. It doesn’t come with nearly enough 10cm spacer bars and without plenty of them it can bow out. Had to buy extra at extra cost
The Gabion's instructions I would describe as useless and not easy to understand. Took watching YouTube videos to somehow understand what to do and it comes without a bottom so not sure how it's meant to sit on concrete. Besides all that the gabion looks great and wire strong but then again I haven't put the stones in. Oh this works out so expensive by the time you add the stones and it doesn't come with the bottom wire or top wire. I don't l am experienced enough for this thing and wouldn't really recommend unless you paying a professional person to do it. The stones to fill it cost me £300 and they were the cheapest l could find so not a cheap project, l should have just build a wood one that would have been cheap.
Very difficult to assemble and questionable quality. I brought this and a similar planter from the other main manafacturer. I found this one to be near impossible to keep the walls straight and the support bars were not great. Also sent wong instructions with the 4 I brought and found that most of them didn't have the right parts resulting in me having to make modifications. Overall the manufacturers platers were strong, easier to put up and came with a liner, which this didn't.
Placed on a hard support = good hold Attention the retaining hooks are not sufficient it is necessary to manufacture some more. After easy assembly, I put agglo in the middle and then 30 * 30 or 30 * x pots for the internal part of the planter. The whole covered with pine bark = beautiful rendering. I recommend with a few more hooks ...
