With over 80 years’ experience honing the craft of espresso, Gaggia is committed to facilitating barista moments in everyday households. Their Classic Stainless Steel machine is ideal for anyone who values the subtleties of quality espresso. The chromed brass group head and filter holder are identical to those found on professional coffee machines. Along with the traditional Gaggia boiler and 15-bar pump, they guarantee a stable temperature throughout the entire brewing process. A three-way solenoid valve relieves pressure in the filter holder once extraction is complete, disposing of excess water to make cleaning easier. The professional steam wand contains two steam outlets, allowing you to prepare creamy cappuccinos without hassle. For added convenience, the machine comes with three filters to accommodate both ground coffee and ESE pods. Classic rocker buttons and indicator lights are at once user-friendly and emblematic of Gaggia’s storied history. Develop your own barista rituals with the Gaggia Classic Stainless Steel espresso machine.

I waited a long time to get this machine because they were out of stock . I suppose my expectations were high, having read and watched reviews by "experts". Straight out of the box, the handle of the filter holder was loose, so every time i connect it to the machine i feel the wobbly handle. The finish quality is very rough compared to the Baratza grinder ( made in Taiwan)that I bought to complement the Gaggia. Its as if some of the parts are second hand. Wondering how long it will last.

Excellent machine from a famous brand. However do realise that it isn't necessarily a plug and play like a Breville. The plastic tamper needs to be replaced, and there is no in built pressure gauge or water filter system. Also you will need smaller cups.

I've had a coffee machine made by Gaggia for over 30 years. So that's why I search the internet to find the same company. I know it's basic with just 3 switches but less problems no Electronics to worry about. This machine feels the same quality as my last one except the water tank is not as large. It makes an excellent coffee like my last machine and if it last me 30 years like the last one it is value for money.

Excellent machine paired with the Breville smart grinder. Machine has made lattes and hot chocolates 2 per day since we purchased it. Pro: dial in your settings and you pretty much can’t go wrong. Great tasting espresso. Steam for frothing is good, new model has 2 holes at the steam tip which takes a little getting use to. Cons: can’t really find any. It’s the kind of machine that if you want a coffee, it’s easy to make. If you want to get good espresso and that silky latte art milk then you need to practice your frothing technique. Good machine, buying it on sale made the difference. Enjoy it and respect it as probably the best entry level real espresso machine. In a few years you might want to up your pretty good game and get an ECM Casa V or better but that Is a ... MoreExcellent machine paired with the Breville smart grinder. As an espresso machine tragic I bought this as a little brother to a more serious commercial grade machine and am not disappointed. Its intended use is for local holiday travel (7kg in weight against 23 kg!)The Gaggia Classic has been around for ever and has been refined and upgraded over that time. It is well put together in Italy using quality materials and for the price offered by Appliancesonline great value. Coffee output pretty well matches my hugely more expensive machine. The very best feature is that it is not made in China.
A great little coffee machine that fits perfectly on my bench. A bit plasticey in parts but that's to be expected for the price. It does however make great coffee, provided you also have a good grinder to go with it. A little trick I have picked up is, just before you turn on the brew switch turn on the steam heater switch for 10 seconds, turn it off then flick the brew switch for 19 seconds. Prefect coffee every time.
If you want a coffee machine that is all automatic then this is NOT for you.if you want to experience of feeling like a barista and taking time to make a great coffee then this unit is great value.I had a Breville professional before and it was OK but this is on another level for coffee extraction and crema. However you need to descale every 8kg's of coffee and ensure you keep it clean or it will become blocked and you will lose the quality. It comes with 2 extraction cups but only 1 handle and a plastic tamper. You need a seperate good grinder and a milk jug as they are not included.
I bought this coffee machine from you at the end of last year. It is faulty. This is the 2nd or 3rd time it has stopped working. The repair place said they were known to have a faulty-art which they supposedly replaced but the same problem has occurred again. Unable to get basket to attach as the part above the basket does not retract. I have spent a lot of time and energy and money on this and now in lockdown and coffee machine has stopped working. I want a replacement or a refund. Not a happy customer
Not very powerful.Slow to heatweak pumps1 year later im going to bin it.I checked reviews seemed OK..I have always serviced it... poor design all-round
This was a Christmas present to each other and we love it. As it's our first coffee machine we've got a lot to learn but it's so rewarding when you get it right. There's definitely an art to tamping correctly and I'm still to get the microfoam right using the steamer but the unit itself is really user friendly. Its well built, has a great feel to it and if you follow the instructions and keep it clean you can't go wrong. We've picked up a few accesories and use qualty grounds from a wholesaler which helps add to the whole coffee making experience. We'd recommend the Gaggia Classic Pro, its a beautiful looking unit and takes up very little space so give your kitchen a treat and grab one.
