I'm not sure. The first night I used this, one side was very much hotter than the other. I don't usually heat both sides of the blanket and I forgot to test it last night so I'm not sure if it's faulty or not.Again, this shows you why the star rating system is a dumb idea. This might be a 5-star product or it might be 1-star, and need to be returned. (Which will be a difficult undertaking under lockdown, and I'd be without a blanket altogether for who knows how long if it's necessary.)
