Big phone Pros: Decent processor speed, even for 2022. Analogue audio output (via 3.5mm jack), (I don't know if newer Samsungs output analogue audio via USB-C port, but the 3.5mm jack is gone) LineageOS supported device. OLED screen has perfect black tones in dark room viewing. Cons: OLED screen has a 60Hz strobing artifact which can make your eyes tired. This is more noticeable on a big screen cpm[ared to a smaller screen version of a Galaxy S10. Volume controls are opposite the power button resulting in accidental button presses. No SDCard expansion capability in contrast to other Galaxy S10 models. Overall: Still probably an ideal bang for buck phone for a few more years if you shop around

I got this last year for my Christmas present but came almost 2 oaths late in the mail! Super slick and prone to slip outta your hands without a case, ring, and/or screen protector. Which is eventually what I ended up having to track down all over the place because at this point all the stores were carrying was S20's and S21's. Nothing more other than the A series of the same thing just different store! I love the purple color too but it's covered anyway with a case. So there is a lot to consider when choosing an older phone no longer carried in local stores! But it also doesn't compare to the S22 Ultra i had the chance to test out either... But my phone is configured into my brain and I know what it does and doesn't do the majority of the time! Makes me feel slow ... MoreI got this last year for my Christmas present but came almost 2 oaths late in the mail! Galaxy S10 false products sold from Walmart.

Dislikes. Completely dirty used phone, sticky dust stuck to camera lenses %26 head speakers and it’s says UNLOCKED online. It means any phone service carriers can connect it. Nope, it didn’t allowed it to connect to the carrier. So it’s LOCKED and fail. False advertisement and failed products. It looks like packing staff replaced with their own phone. The clear plastic was OVER covered the entire phone screen itself.

Lots of small issues
6 March 2023

The bad;The finger print recognition is awful, (though slightly better since a recent update)The facial recognition almost never works.Digging around the Android store to get apps that dont come with constant advertisingis a nightmare, and the ones that can be found that are paid, are considerably more expensive then anything on the Apple App Store.Very sluggish response, in every day use, and the phone froze on me twice. My 5 year old iPhone is considerably faster. The Pros; It's a phone and that works. The camera is pretty decent.Having an old fashioned headphone jack is great.Being able to run almost any software is nice. However, I still haven't decided/figured out if its contributed to stabilityissues or not.The phones browser is flexible.

MKBHD helped me decide
6 December 2022

I bought this phone about a year ago. I remember when small aspects of it were leaked before release, it made me want the device even more! I love the full matte black look on the device. It's just so clean! Fingerprints are not a problem. The cameras are absolutely amazing. Every chance I get to show people this phone take pictures of the moon I take it. This phone has many features I try to take advantage of on a daily basis. For example, this device was the first S-series device to gain access to the s-pen. So I bought it. I have a Samsung watch and love when I can show people that I can charge my watch on the back of my phone! Can you do that??! The display of this device is wonderful. So sharp, the colors are amazing, if it's not to your liking you can change it. The SMOOOOTH 120hz was the #1 reason I chose this device. This phone's capabilities are endless and I love it. I willd definitely be keeping this phone for the next 4+ years. Next upgrade might be a foldable. We'll see!

Premium Android device. My favorite all time.

I'll start by saying that I'm someone who usually doesn't hold on to phones that long. I like to be on the cutting edge of technology and until the S series phones haven't had much brand loyalty. I typically switch phones within 6 months to a year of ownership. I believe my first S series phone was the S8. It was game changing to me with it's design and software features. Since that phone I have traded up each year to the next Galaxy S phone, the S8 to the S9. Then to the S10 plus and the S20 plus. When I got the S21 Ultra, it was to me the perfect phone. All the things that I wanted to be added to the previous generations had finally made it with this phone. I actually tried the S22 Ultra but don't really like the more square Note style design so I came back to the S21 Ultra. After almost 2 years and even trading for another brands flagship phone recently, I immediately regretted my decision and bought another S21 Ultra off Amazon. In my opinion it's the best smartphone ever released and a famous YouTuber claimed it phone of the year in 2021. I will stick with this phone for now. Maybe I'll consider the S 23 plus, but it just seems like I would be downgrading in terms of release variant since I just don't like the design of the Ultra anymore. The S21 Ultra still performs perfectly so I think I'll stick with it especially since it will get software support for 2 more years.

RETURNED
10 December 2022

The item I purchased said open box- meaning a new product , just box opened. I have found out these are used and refurbished phones, with alot of unhappy reviews. Misrepresented as far as I'm concerned so I didn't accept it, and sent it back. The repair shop where my broken s7 was at to get the data retrieved from it had the same s10 phone from this seller, sold under the same pretence. It was there because it wasn't working, was well used, I was told over 1400 charge cycles on it, definitely NOT open box. So don't get too excited by the "sale", because it's not a deal in any capacity. I fell for the black Friday special, but was lucky to find out about this before the phone arrived.

Slow, no sounds for alerts that I like
7 September 2023

I bought this a couple of days ago. I'm glad it's Samsung because I don't have a learning curve. However, Samsung has a history of taking away features that are good. This phone is no exceptionIt's slow. Sometimes when you try to scroll, the phone just freezes until it's ready to scroll. Whenever that will be.There are a lot of notification sounds. None that I like. They sound like symphonies playing. If my phone rings, I want a simple bell. If I get a text, I don't want an opera and everybody staring at me until I answer the text. The battery drains quickly. If I go to bed with a 100% battery, when I wake up, it's down to 70%.It's only been two days. No doubt I'll find out more things that Samsung downgraded

I've owned the s21 ultra since day 1 and all I can say is I am extremely happy with my purchase. I owned an iPhone xr prior to owning this device and it was quite the step up. The camera quality is almost unrivaled with the 108 mp camera taking superior quality photos even from a great distance as well as sporting a 40 mp front facing camera. The phone is CDMA/GSM capable, has the fastest operating quad core processor, as well as 6.8 inch screen. Speaking of the screen, it is one the most durable I've cone across in a long time. A bunch of drops and the phone still kicks like a mule. The screen is capable of refreshing upto 120hz with a consistent resolution of 3200 x 1400 making for happy viewing as well as some rather enjoyable scenes when watching content. I almost never want to put it down. While there is a lack of a port for a headphone jack it doesn't hinder the potential of use. The sound quality is superb, boasting software by Dolby atmos sounds are crisp, clear, loud. Phone can charge within an hour from almost 0 with "super fast charging" capabilities, battery lasts nearly all day with heavy use upto 2 days on its own. The s21 ultra has a beautiful design and a multitude of colors for those who like customizing to the max. The phone is worth its value and then some. Still receiving support in the form of stable software updates.
