Patches holes up easily, can hardly tell it’s there. The scraper tool is very handy to not have both hands occupied. The only annoying thing is when the paste dries inside the tool and having to clean it out. There should be a cap integrated in future designs.

The material is impressively light and easy to work with, however it seems better suited for patching nail holes using your finger. In other words this material is best for very small holes and applying the material only for that size hole I would not use this on my next project for larger patchwork. It doesn’t sand well and doesn’t receive paint well. The material itself is rather porous when dry and flashes through. If you’re gonna use this, push it into the nail hole then wipe off the excess

I don't know why there's so many negative reviews as I really love this product becasue it works really well for what it's intended for - finishing and final repair coats on drywall before final light sanding and painting. I find this product saves me from having to deal with large amounts of sanding dust that is generated when you are forced to use other heavier spackling compounds or drywall compounds, especially in situations where it's unnecessary and all you're trying to do is fix a small imperfection. This will save you time and energy if used in the right way. It's also possible that the people that left negative reviews are perhaps not closing the lid tightly enough and letting the product dry out or something? Like honestly, this works as intended and fills ... MoreI don't know why there's so many negative reviews as I really love this product becasue it works really well for what it's intended for - finishing and final repair coats on drywall before final light sanding and painting. After having a multiple room drywall repair project finished by the drywall pro, I had a spot that needed some additional very thin coverage. I had just repainted the entire main floor of our home (the repair was there, and the ceiling is one continuous surface extending into multiple rooms), and discovered that an old repair was blistering. So, off to Lowe's. Standing in the isle, I decided with the DAP Fast' N Final as it advertised being both a patch and primer. That would save a ton of time. Applied to the very shallow blister, and allowed to dry 30 minutes as directed. Wet! Then it started to bubble. Then, 24 hours later, it was a rubbery mess. I seriously hope the moisture of this product did not induce/create more problems.TLDR: Does NOT dry in 24 hours as ... MoreAfter having a multiple room drywall repair project finished by the drywall pro, I had a spot that needed some additional very thin coverage. Thoroughly unimpressed. Do. Not. Buy.
Conflicted to put 3 stars. The minus 2 stars is for Walmart. In short, you can get a bigger bottle (32 oz) at Home Depot for the same price. The product: it’s great! It was perfect for my intended project. I purchased another (at HD of course).
I run a property management maintenance shop with well over 300 units. I am reviewing this in a professional environment. I ordered this by accident about 10 years ago. Initially, we didn't understand what this does, and when to use it. The crew didn't like it because it has some sort of glue or admix in it. It's kind of a mix between spackle and caulking. It's a bit weird to trowel, but you just need to wipe it and leave it alone. You can paint with latex paint immediately., with no primer needed. It does not leave a "holiday." Think of how that will change the prep time on small jobs! This product EXCELS at exterior wood trim. It will never crack. It dries to a strong, flexible semi-solid. It will never crack. It dries to a strong, flexible semi-solid. It not brittle, so it flexes when the wood expands and contracrts. It is sandable after at least 24 hours. All of the bad reviews about this being sticky, or not sandable are because they didn't wait. You have to wait. It's worth the learning curve. I can verify this with 10 years of experience. I see these buildings every day. Still no cracks.
I did not like anything about it. When I received it, I took it out of the package because it was cold and I wanted to warm it up. So I left it for a couple of days. I was ready to use it so I opened it and removed the tab on the top. I squeezed it just a little bit and it all flew out the bottom of it and onto my shirt. Not only that, but there was hardly anything in it. It's going back tomorrow.
ZERO STARS. NOT ONE. Repainting living room and redoing trim work. Thought this would work to fill in some dings and cracks in the trim. Boy, was I wrong. I don't think it says anywhere on the package that this isn't really a plaster-like material, but more like foam when it dries. It says no sanding. I assumed that meant you didn't have to if it looked good when first applied. What they really mean is that it's not possible to sand. It rolls up on itself and chunks come out. By putting this on my trim, I've now lost and set myself back by THREE DAYS of work. One by putting this garbage on, another by having to take it ALL OFF AGAIN, and a third by having to get something different to use and reapply everywhere I already put this useless garbage on. Let's start with that fact that is convenient especially for small patches. The kids are always throwing a toy or accidently indenting the wall so this is the perfect product for us to have on hand. Yes I have some in a bigger container but it's heavy, has one of those hard to remove tops and can be a bit messy. So when I saw this with a built in knife and easy to close top, I was excited. I used it to patch a small indent and it came out easily, was easy to spread and the clean up was a breeze. The top that slides on to close this product is perfect so I can save it for another fix up. It says no sanding required but I'm not the best at making my work smooth so I'll have to anyway. The only con I have is maybe a bit of product waste since it's a tube and I can't ... MoreLet's start with that fact that is convenient especially for small patches. The product was easy to control how much I wanted out so that was helpful too. Overall the end result looks good and I'll definitely use it again.
this would be great for filling light nail holes but not so much for sheetrock repair. It is definitely not what I expected. I would equate the working texture of this with a cross between a whipped cream cheese and cool whip. It was kinda weird. I think I expected it to be more dense. It was so fluffy, it was kind of hard to work with and didn't really stick. I used this to repair an area of my wall where my puppy chewed the sheetrock all the way to the stud. I'll have to wait to see how hard it sets up but with the wet product, it reminds me of spray foam and I think this is way too light and will be a fail for my need. I do not recommend for sheet rock repair but great for light nail holes.
