Great Controller But...

4.5/5 Overall this controller is a lot more smooth and quieter than the Xbox controller that comes with the X|S Series. Takes some time to get used to but it easily worth the $45 price tag. It is also a lot more precise and with the GameSir Nexus app you can tune the controller to however you want and change the layout. It does everything it says but I think my controller has a problem that is specific to only mine. (I have used the controller for less than 10 hours) The problem is that my left trigger (LT) gets stuck if I push down from the back of the trigger and let go from the edge of the trigger. To unstick the LT I have to press on the left side of the trigger (see image). This doesn't affect the performance or usability of the controller or LT in-game though.

A newer version has just came-out on Amazon called the Gamesir G7 HE, which i've just ordered and available in a sexy black color with mouse-click sounding buttons, pre-loaded with latest software/firmware, and colored buttons just like the regular Microsoft controller. I hope BestBuy gets the newer version soon, if they do, ill buy it from them. The size is allegedly the same as stock, too. It's app is downloadable from the Microsoft store so you can update it's software to match performance that of the newer version.

[Rewarded Review] Great for someone who's used to Xbox

My review is I personally didn't enjoy using the controller. CONS: I've played on Xbox before and usually love their controllers but this one doesn't feel comfortable. I do notice it has a about two second delay when gaming on shooter games. I played also Forza Horizon and it did pretty good in terms of response when racing. These are just my opinions without messing with the setting on the controller. PROS: I do like the fact that is easy plug and go type of controller. I didn't have to download any unnecessary software to use it or bluetooth it. I does come with about an 8ft cable to hook up to the computer. It has a 3.5mm headphone for people who still enjoy plugging in their headphones while gaming. [Rewarded Review] Worth The Money For A Cabled Controller

I have been using my original Xbox One controller but the joysticks have been wearing out, and I’ve been getting joystick drift. With this controller I haven’t been getting any joystick drift, it’s been great! I’ve had no issues with the buttons either. You do have to keep in mind the cord, and the cord length though. I have my tv on the opposite side of the room. So I can’t lay back comfortably on the couch (7-8 feet) to play Xbox. The USB outlet is on the backside of the Xbox so you loose 10-12 inches from that. I have a small comfortable chair that I put halfway to play my games and that makes it a lot easier.
