I bought 4 boxes a few months ago and spread today, 1 out of 4 boxes was full of rice!So i guess a rice paddy is about to grow in my backyard. The middle seed is from the packet in question, right seed is from other 3 packets, and left seed is basmati rice from my pantry. Pretty obviously rice

Absolute rubbish grass seed, prepped the back yard ground to within an inch of its life, take was pretty much non existent, never again, give me Boston grass seed any day of the week.Don't buy this rubbish seed !!.

Scattered this liberally over newly levelled yard. Didn’t bother raking it, lightly watered every day for a few weeks. 8 weeks later - nice, thick green lawn and lots of fat pigeons who just love the seed. Cheap solution that worked.

Followed instructions. But, no grass at all. Came here to put a review after waiting for 1 month.
Grows green lush within a week but eventually dies (may be after 5 weeks). When you mow or walk the grass cant stand back.Waste of time and Water. I will never ever buy this again.
Was on special so decided to grab 10 boxes and try to thicken up my lawn, while recovering an area that was a dirt patch from an Avery. So happy with the results! After the 3rd or 4th mow, the blades get thicker and thicker. And so thick/soft.I previously spent $30+ on seed… And can’t say the germination rate was even close!Definitely noticed that germination success relied heavily upon the seed being properly combined with the topsoil.Photos show 2 weeks of growth.
We were so surprised within 2 days we had grass growing and we didn’t even add any good soil after 10 days we had to mow it , it was so long incredible
I bought this to seed my front and back lawns. It germinated, quickly, and appeared to be producing a nice, lush, lawn. However, after a few months, and with the onset of summer, it slowly died, despite regular and careful watering and fertilising. I can only presume that it primarily contains annual rye grass (which dies in summer) and not much else. Nothing (like perennial rye grass) took its place. So a waste of time, effort, water and expense. Soul destroying! Try another, more reliable, grass seed blend. You get what you pay for!
Comes up great in 5 or 6 days then in 3 to 5 weeks just lays down and dies. Watered morning an night and l'm left with mud. Absolute rubbish seed.
Only saw shoots for about 10 percent of the seed. Very disappointing. I think it is probably worth spending a few extra dollars and getting a better product. I would try something else.
