Fortunately I could afford to lose some of the hose so cut of a length to use as leader hose, and from past experience could work out how to assemble.

Bought this hose about 12 months ago. The reel itself is fine but the supplied hose is far from satisfactory. Goodness how many times it has been fixed after bursting near the nozzle end. I would go for another brand if buying again.
