Brilliant fast service as always from Toolstation - ordered online and it was delivered the next day! The Gardena Hose still has to prove itself, but so far, so good. It replaced a Hozelock hose which we had to return within a couple of weeks to the supplier as it just was not up to the task. This hose seems so much better (although it is also more expensive - but worth the extra cost).
Purchased these to replace a hand-wound hose reel from another popular brand. The Gardena has been excellent - it certainly feels like a premium and well-engineered product. I discarded the wall bolts provided and used 5mm masonry screws instead which should provide a more long-term stronger fix.The hose reel itself is easy enough to unroll but has a firm rewind that ensures the hose is fully retracted after every use. Particularly impressive is the horizontal slider which automatically and evenly distributes the hose on the reel.Wouldn’t have any other brand now.
It has made watering the garden easier, but I'm a little concerned that the hosepipe started to twist after only a couple of uses, which I wasn't expecting from an item which is supposed to be such great quality. I would recommend, but I would say to keep an eye on this issue
Been thinking of buying an auto reel for some time but specifically a Gardena because I think the quality is better than most others on sale. Yes, it is a bit pricey against some but you get what you pay for. This was delivered next day, was very easy to install and I am well pleased with it.
Bit expensive I thought but decided to bite the bullet and go for it. So far so good. Very easy to install, just three holes to drill then everything else is supplied. Everything seems to be good quality but time will tell if it was worth the extra money.
Great piece of kit. I did quite a bit of research between this and the HozeLock and decided to bite the bullet and spend that little extra on the Gardena. Do not regret it at all. Easy to assemble, everything you need is in the box and ready to go within 5-10 minutes. Good quality materials as well. The father-in-law has the HozeLock version and he was experiencing problems with it getting jammed on the auto reel every now and again which swayed me towards this. Pay half, you pay twice, ey?Great product.
I did quite a lot of research regarding the best self retractable garden hose and this came up trumps. Delivery was fast as always and i was not disappointed, quality pipe with anti kink and a strong retract even if the hose is water filled, what's more this pivots to the full 180° with a strong wall mounted bracket. Basically I'm surprised I'm so pleased with a garden hose but this pure quality and while more expensive than some others you really do get what you have paid for.I highly recommend this garden hose you won't be disappointed.
