I have bought 4 of these units over the years for 2 outdoor garden hoses (minor changes in design over time mainly in the trigger lock and flow control). They work quite well for general hosing and watering, but maybe not ideal for watering pot plants (flow rate is too high even on low setting). Main concern is with longevity - they only last 2 or 3 years before failing, usually with a major leak in the trigger or flow control knob. Five year warranty, but who keeps the receipts. Time to try a different one
