Great product for the money, easy to assemble, all parts there, no having to manipulate any panel to get it together, absolutely nothing to complain about at all. If you are going to purchase one then make sure you buy some outdoor decking/furniture oil before you put it together and oil as per the instructions on the can as the timber is dry, I spent two days and two coats of decking oil getting the timber oiled and it was worth it, the colour came up fantastic, so along with the purchase price of the seat I had $40 for Wattyl decking oil, but well worth it. By the way it is a pretty sturdy product and the space under the seat is great for the kids shoes when they come home from school, off at the front door and straight in to the storage area, in the morning out ... Nice bench - the wood is a little soft and low-grade, but it's nicely designed and simple to assessmble. Should last well with appropraite care.
Surprisingly sturdy bench. Pretty straight forward assembly. Read the instructions before starting and it'll probably make it quicker to assemble :) I did a little light sanding before applying some furniture oil.
We really loved this bench seat when it arrived but the lid didn’t shut so we did have to sand down and make some adjustments. It’s just lucky my husbands handy and could do that.
Great storage under seat. Very easy to assemble. Great value. Only gave 4 stars not 5 as needed to be sanded and varnished. Rough to touch otherwise.

Pieces on one side would not fit together right, so I had to drill an extra hole (due to 1.5cm gap between bolt and hole, which is a BIG error when putting together furniture with pre-drilled holes), and one armrest is longer than the other.Unstained barely-sanded pale wood, not a lovely baltic pine gold colour like in the promo pictures. Instructions poor quality and pieces are unlabelled. Note - lid won't open all the way up due to back of chair getting in the way, best you'll get is at an angle. Not a great design. Note also seat is not solid, it has gaps like a garden bench. Look at ALL pics before ordering. If ordering be prepared to put extra effort in when constructing from flat pack pieces, and that you'll need to stain or varnish ... MoreWould not recommend. This is seat is suitable for a child … it is not sturdy & is made from cheap material that definitely will not last the distance outside in the elements. I donated to my local op shop I was so disappointed!!This is the reason I rarely purchase anything online.Live & learn, however I expected way better quality from Myer.
