In spite of the fact that there were not too many parts to this, it needs two to put it together as instructions were not always clear. While the lid opening hinge was all there, it was not always clear for an amateur to set it up correctly. A little disappointed re the fact that although I wanted to for outdoors storage, the suggestion is made not to put it where moisture may be a problem because of the possibility of the timber warping. Apart from all of this , a sturdy and solid-feeling piece......

I would have given 5⭐️ - but .....The seat bench arrived well packaged, is good value, was easy to assemble, however, did not pass the ‘interior waterproof’ Statement in advertisement. I did lined the inside storage compartment (lid was already lined) with plastic sheeting but the rain still penetrated and wet the contents stored inside (approx 3-4mm rain water). Am still waiting for a response from the distributor/manufacturer as to what type of material can be used to make the interior waterproof.

This box was exactly what I expected - arrived in good condition and all parts included. Easy for a handy man / woman to assemble although minimal instructions. You do need a screwdriver and a little creativity to square it up correctly. A great product for outdoor and rain proof storage for your garden tools.

I only have 2 issues. (1) The box lid hinge holes were not pre-drilled. (2) There were no lid latches as part of the kit. Still the box complements my outdoor garden lounge set. I use the box to store the seat cushions.
This product was substandard. It came with split wood and the instructions were poorly designed, in particular showing the wrong attachment position of the hinges to the lid. The screws were too small to get a good grip so I needed to get higher gauge ones that did not go through the hinge holes like the ones provided. Lucky I have good DIY skills otherwise it would have been a huge pain.
Very good size. Fits 4 chair seat cushions & 2 full chair cushions for our outdoor setting. Also fits a box to tidy outdoor shoes. Delivery time was good & to the front door. Easy to put together
Easy to put together but had trouble with hinges. If you pre drill the screw holes you won't have the alignment problems I had. The timber is some sort of pine that has been stained. The legs chips easily if you drag the box around. I gave the box a coat of jarrah decking oil which covered up chips and it looks great now.
Really pleased with these bought 2 of them they are good quality and look really nicenot very big so make sure you look at measurements as photo does make them appear bigger than they are but I had measured so knew thatFits my 8 cushions in though
It was a little difficult to assemble. It is comfortable to sit on. Waterproof but not 100% so it's great to store sporting equipment like footballs etc that can get damp but I wouldn't store anything that can't stand damp in this check. Overall looks nice and is good value for money.
Beautiful to look at but not easy to attach lid hinges to box as No pilot holes and just one person, me. Rain water enters box at front corners. I love the charcoal colour. Also box not square and after putting extra screws in base to stabilise, when moved bench to outdoor area, lid once more catching on sides.
