No springs where chain hangs. Overall bad construction. Makes bad sounds when swings. Already stared seeing cracks in wood.

Made of poor quality wood. Chair broke down in five minutes of sitting. Not worth it.
Had to get three parts replaced as they were sent to us broken or damaged. Screw holes in wrong parts, obviously happened during assembly. Replacement seat part had to be chiselled to fit to the rest of the frame. Beautiful once together and seems sturdy,
love it exactly as shown however the roof is very thin and only lasted 3 months in the weather, still very happy with it will make a solid roof for it

Bought this few month ago. Now wood chips starting to come out of the swing. squak noise all the time. Very cheap quality.
It's very cheap quality. After doing all the bolts and screws properly it still squeaks with just one person on the swing and it's a three seater. Very frustrating listening to the squeaks.

The instructions are adequate, but be prepared to redo some of your construction as it is easy to mix up certain pieces regardless of how thorough you think you've been. All drilled holes align, though there are some pieces that are not pre-drilled. You will need a electric drill and a couple of spanners to complete. It is also a good idea to have someone on hand to assist. I recommend only hand tightening nuts and bolts as it is easier to deconstruct should you mix up some of the parts - and you will. Once constructed and all nuts and bolts tightened, the cushion ties to the frame of the seat by a couple of tapes and the canopy is a really good and tight fit, also complete with fabric ties to keep it ... MoreExcellent, decent quality swing that will arrive in three boxes.
