I was trying really hard to find an original Garmin 6" case for my Garmin GPS as it is a 6" itself but due to the rare nature of 6" navigator being around it was only rarer for a case. Johnny Appleseed was the only store in Australia that I could find over the internet that legitimately had this specific case for my specific GPS which is currently only available in the USA as the Garmin Website shows. Case is sturdy, appears well made. Unfortunately, it will not fit a 6" Garmin GPS once you have installed on the back of the device the disc that allows you to place the GPS in a dashboard mount. This means you must continually add and remove the mounting disc, increasing the chances it will crack one of these days and be rendered useless, or simply get lost. Garmin knows you are going to use this with the mounting disc, why not insure that the case will fit with it on? It would have only meant another 1/2 inch of space needed. Stupid.

At first i wasn't sure this case would fit my new 9.5 Garmin Drive Smart GPS Navigator because the box was labeled 5" and 6" universal carrying case. Garmin doesn't make one specifically labeled for the 9.5". But the fit is perfect and the magnetic latch closes with ease. The case is lined with soft felt to protect the GPS from scratches. Excellent product.

I picked up this carrying case while also purchasing my Zumo XT to protect it when not in use. The case fits snug to the GPS unit. The clasp pulls tightly to contain the unit. The inner liner is soft and designed to keep the face from scratches. The outer finish has held up well in the nine months I've owned it.
I bought this for my new DriveLuxe 51LMT-S. I want something better fitting then what this was so I plan to return it. Luckily, I had my Garmin Universal 5-Inch Carrying Case from 2012, model 010-11577-01. It is perfectly sized for just a 5 inch and a nicer build. Hopefully Garmin or a competitor will offer something similar in the future. I specifically do not like that it is oversized for a 5 inch since it can also fit a 6 inch.
Nice, basic case to protect a GPS unit while not in use. Prevents scratches and damage. No issues.
I'm sure the case is a good case for Garmin GPS models without a camera. However I recently purchased the Garmin DriveAssist 50LMT 5" GPS with Built-In Camera and this case does not fit well due to the camera lense protruding out past the GPS formed case. There should be a case specifically designed for these models to allow clearance for the camera lenses in order to create a better fit. The magnetic flap cannot close due to the lense pushing out on the case too far so I just tuck the flap inside. Need to be careful not to carry open side down as the GPS will slide out since the flap can't engage to keep closed. It is better than nothing...maybe.
I love this carrying case for my GPS. I take it with me everywhere I go. I can fit it in my coat pocket, my purse, and in my car. Very handy. My GPS fits like a glove in the case. It protects the screen from getting scratched and I love how soft the case feels and it has a magnetic latch that keeps the GPS from falling out.
Carrying Case for 5" and 6" Garmin nüvi GPS - Black: Won't fit if you attach rear hook latch. Very poor engineering. How in the world did it pass test inspection? The gps comes in 3 pieces: The section cup, then a round latch which attaches on one end to the suction cup, the other to the gps. If you keep the latch on the gps, it will not fit. The latch is not meant to be taken on/off regularly, as it's thin chem flimsy plastic. So you need keep latch on the gps forever. I was so disappointed. I cut a hole but not completely off or out, them places a tiny lil tape on the two sides, so the magnet can stick a lil, That way, it fits but very tight, I wrap a rubber band and velcro so the gps does not fall out and break. Inner lining is soft.
nice fit, best leather, looks great. use it for my flat phone and 6in gps for my rv. good product. great workmenship piece.
