Amazing Watch. This is not only a great dive computer it is a great smart watch. I have had this watch for 2 months now and have used it for about 14 dives. It is easy to read, and the air integration with auto-on for dive mode is excellent. The only negative is related to the transmitter. It is rather large and depending on your first stage it may require moving a few hoses around to get it to fit properly. Battery life of the watch is good and last about 5 days as a regular smart watch. I get about 3 days out of the battery diving with the watch. Still learning all the things that this watch can do, and it seems to have adequate storage for holding dives as well as all the widgets and applications.

My daily Smart watch AND my dive computer. Absolutely love this watch. I've used it on about 25 dives now and absolutely love it. It does everything but the laundry. I also love the interface between Garmin dive (my new log book). I tell everyone about this watch. Fiji, BVIs, Croatia, lake Tahoe. Super rugged. It even tracks my indoor gym climbing, aerobic work outs, hiking, and mountaineering trips. Can't say enough about this. The air integration is amazing once you set it up. Love it!!

If you do not have a dive computer and if you do not have a smartwatch, MK2 is hands down the way to go. The amount of features and options is incredible. The watch screen is less than perfect on the surface in my opinion. However, underwater the screen is fantastic. On the other hand, if you already have a smartwatch and are only looking at buying a dive computer, I would suggest Shearwater Teric might be a better option. There is no better screen in dive computers today. Period. Four-button navigation is extremely intuitive. Teric also provides more dive information. Teric, however, does not have GPS capability.Bottom line, if you want an all-in-one dive computer, get the Garmin. If you a looking for the best dive computer, give Teric a look.

I bought the watch prior to a trip to Grand Cayman. Wore it for a few days (all day and all night). Awesome features. I've never been a watch guy but started to love it. Then one of the buttons got stuck. I called customer service, and they suggested to soak it in warm water or clean around the button with alcohol. No problem. But I asked "If that doesn't work, what else can we do?" The response was that they could ship the watch to me international, but I'd have to pay $40 for shipping. If you can afford this watch, $40 shouldn't be a deal killer. But on principal alone, if the watch is defective, and Garmin can't cover $40 for international shipping, then WFT?! The watch may be great (I'll assess the diving functions if I can actually use in 2 days, assuming the fixes work), but customer service should be equal to the quality of the watch, especially at this price point. If the company can't fix their own defect without charging me for shipping so I can actually dive with it, then that is an epic customer service fail. As always, buyer beware. Garmin, you should re-think your policy on things like this...my respect for Garmin just dropped off a cliff.
For the price mark of Ā£1150 this equipment is simply not worth it. Build quality is low, it is nice to have a titanium bezel, but rest of the body is just cheaply smelling plastic. Display resolution seems older than myself (born in 90's) moving through the screens doesnt feel smooth but choppy. Lastly, diving screen customisation: Oh what a horror. I would expect to get all needed info onto one screen. I ''appreciate'' to have such an important info such as sunset and sunrise on the screen while divingš, but not to be able to see a tank pressure is just a laugh to divers face from Garmin. Divers dont want to flip through the screen when diving, they want all info on one screen, I suppose its too much to ask
I only got the watch few days ago and I did not yet have any dive with the watch so perhaps it is too early to give a good reliable review. I bought it after reading excellent reviews. First impression it's very good, solid smartwatch with excellent features and the feature which clinched it for me was that it is combined excellent smartwatch, excellent outdoor activities features and excellent diving computer which excceds the best in the market in consistent reviews. The only downside so far is the sync is very slow and still I'm not sure about turning the back light with hand gestures as the screen is dim indoors
Loved the computer but the pressure sensor died after just a handful of dives so I could not use it for diving. The watch functions continued to work but it was worthless for diving. I contacted Garmin to see if there was anything that could be done to fix it remotely since I was in Indonesia for a month. They helped me try a few things but ultimately the watch could not be repaired. I sent the kit back for a refund with the hope that in the future Garmin will get the bugs worked out of the product. I may try purchasing the computer again at some point in the future. The really unfortunate thing is that Scuba.com only refunded part of my money back. Not happy about that issue.
There was a lot to love about this watch. All of the features of the Garmin ecosystem with great tracking accuracy. As far as a dive computer, this watch worked great for the 6 dives I took with it. Easy to read display. Great tracking features. Seeing my heart rate helped me work on slowing my breath and reducing my oxygen usage. Transmitter worked perfectly. Wearing the watch daily felt comfortable and I like the overall larger size.So why I am returning the watch? It is simply too big to sleep with and the edges on the dials are too sharp. My watch would catch on the sheets and wake me up every once in a while. But when the edges scratched my wife the other night, I decided it was time to give up on the experiment.I really wanted to keep this watch. Sleep ...Ā MoreThere was a lot to love about this watch. Sleep tracking is just too important to the Garmin health reports to go without. I wish they had a separate sleep tracker or that I could transfer data from another sleep tracker to my Garmin Connect.Added some photos to compare to the size to the Fitbit Charge 5.
I'll start by saying I haven't yet used this for diving but have been familiarizing myself with it. For a watch with soooo many functions and abilities, the learning curve isn't too bad. Once I got the hang of the menu structure, most things were pretty straight forward. The watch is way cool looking as well. It is big but I've been wearing it as an everyday watch without any strained muscles. It is the most competent smart watch I've ever owned (and should be for the price!). Anyway, a happy convert so far to Garmin smart watches.
Loved this computer. Although it has a ton of extras I'll never use, some one else might.Dove this computer many times and I'm completely satisfied. My house burnt down and it survived it from a water puddle from the fire fighters. Took it to the dive shop and they popped it in the pressure pot at 200ft/88psi/6bar. Simulated a Deco dive and it worked!! Garmin did it right. Will continue to use it as a backup computer with extreme caution though. Redundancy matters.Even before the fire I thought it was worth the purchase. Clearly reads NDL limit and ascend/decent rate. Rock solid product. Can't go wrong. And even outside of diving I use the GPS for hiking and hunting large land layouts
