This device does not connect to the Satellites. All it does is say, "searching for Satellites". It never calculates a route. I downloaded updates and still no good. And I dont like that you cant set the time to destination. It seems like its an aftermarket Device. Im very disappointed with it. The map still shows its in Miami Beach. I guess thats where it shipped from. Just very unhappy about it.

I have owned lots of Satnav’s over the years, and a couple of them have been Garmin. I broke my last truck one so thought I would try the Garmin 710 pro. Well the TomTom came back yesterday so I put them side by side. The Garmin continuously adds time on a 4 hour journey 40 minutes. It only updates delays in the 10 or twenty miles ahead. It doesn’t offer alternatives like from Blackpool to East Anglia the A1 or the M6 the other does with all the delays, I’m not talking about accidents that happen on the way, I’m talking long term roadworks.

Has a great Save feature to lock in all the places you go!It updates with new maps regularly. I update maps when I'm parked overnight at Love's.

I like this store, I can buy anything I want here. The selection of products is very large and the prices are lower than market prices, the staff is very friendly and ready to provide the necessary advice that will allow me to make the right choice. The ultimate purchase was a navigator from Garmin, a very good and reliable company, maps and software are updated every week. It has a built-in camera, which helps a lot when driving, and can also perform the function of a video recorder. That's why I prefer this store.
Im really happy with my perchance of the Garmin GPS. As a local truck driver i truly rely on this product to get me from point A to point B , without spending me down a road that a semi truck cannot get out of. I definitely recommend this product to all truck driver's, its easy to set up and its really easy to navigate thru all the settings. My 90 days opinion about the Garmin! It does just fine for the application I use it for. By been a truck driver it's the perfect size (screen) and mount that's not in my line of sight. Sometimes the gps (Garmin) tend to act slow from time to time ,but I guess that due to it by sitting in the windshield throughout the days/night . What I have realized that it seems the gps battery drain out pretty fast when you don't plug it in a cigarette port ,which I don't like.

This Garmin GPS is an amazing product. I am new to truck driving and this GPS has gotten me to all of my locations safely and in the exact time given for the estimated time of arrival. I also like that tge GPS lets you know the streets that trucks are allowed and also alerts when you are going above the posted speed limit. This is a great tool to have. The dislike that I have with the product is that the price which is very steep for a product that doesn’t warn of police speed traps or construction.
I purchase GARMIN thinking that was the top user friendly trucker device available. I should've done a better research. This model has lots of lag, the touch does not respond well and OS tides up your celphone beyond WIFI data. To makes matters worse, a new version was lunch days from my return policy expiration. OTR725 DEZLCAM probably has and updated processor.

Though designed for truckers, it can be configured by size and weight, etc for an RV. Some learning curve but hard since I had a Garmin before.
