I have used Garmin watches ever since the original Fenix came out years ago. Recently I had a 6x Sapphire that was a little under 3 years old (purchased new). That watch still had full battery capacity and ZERO scratches on the screen after many impacts. I was sad to finally sell it but was able to recover quickly with this fine watch. Between the touch screen, light, updated design, and enhanced software I am in heaven! I know this watch will last me for many years to come as a faithful companion.

The watch does everything I need it to do, plus some. Easy to wear, charge lasts as promised. However, the negative press Garmin gets is true; the watch will not stay connected to a bluetooth speaker to play music. I tried a UE Megaboom and a pair of brand new Bose QC II earbuds. Tried evey trouble shooting tactic given by Garmin- connection lasts betweeen 90-180 seconds then drops. So, if music is your priority, I suggest an Apple Watch. For me, it's a five start watch but for 1,000.00 I feel it should perform as advertised in ALL categories.

This is the first watch I’ve owned that genuinely checks (almost) all of the boxes. The flashlight was something I loved on the 7X, but it was too big of a watch for my taste. Now that it's on all the models - I'm sold. Heart-rate monitor upgrade has a ton of potential for future enhancements (even though Garmin can’t comment on capabilities yet), the upgraded screen is a big difference from the previous generation MIP screen - the list goes on. There are only a few small things that I feel like would really put this watch on another level - irregular heart rate notifications/ECG functionality (which seem to be possible with the hardware) ... It appears the quality checks and balances put in place with newer watches is getting much better! Great job, Garmin!

I have owned every Fenix since Fenix 2 and am never disappointed when upgrading. The faster charging and chip set with new sensors have been great. Additional software upgrades really shine in this model. I am also pro MIP display and while the EPIX is beautiful I will take battery life all day everyday. I use this as my go to watch (Running, Biking, Rowing, Swimming) and while I also own an Apple Watch Ultra this is the one I use 24/7 and that other one sits on the charger unless I do some thing where carrying my phone is a no go. Thanks to the Fenix team, I went to college with one of you and am always happy to brag that I know somebody behind such a great product line. Nice upgrade to an already great watch. Multi-band GPS, upgraded memory, slight improvement to screen, HR sensor v5 - all IMO worth it over the standard Fenix if prices are in a similar spot as they are now.IRL use, both versions work fine. Battery is getting 19 days. Solar doesnt seem to add much but "nice to have". Sensor performance (GPS, HR, etc) all seem to work a little better on this version (I had both and noticed some slightly differing HR readings on F7 vs Apple Watch where on this one, the F7 Pro and Apple Watch seem to always align). Looking forward to many adventures.
Replaced my 6X Pro with this and not disappointed one bit. The new refinements are noticeable at all levels. The satellite hook up is faster. The sensors seem more accurate measuring. I definitely like the sapphire lense which is durable and very clear. The battery with solar lasts extremely longer than the 6X. I wasn’t sure about the touch screen but love it. I was worried that I would be activating it all the time and it does not. Touch and swipe to view other options. Very nice. It is just an all around performer that will not disappoint the outdoor enthusiast.
This is a 700.00 watch new. Plus tax! A price I could never pay... however I found this gently used one through EBay. It is by far the best watch I have ever owned. I have had non smart watched like high end citizens, I have had a Samsung smart watch, and a wyze smart watch. The Fenix 6x pro takes the best qualities from each of those watches and combines them into one super watch. It has all the best smart watch functions with a 20+ day battery life. It will take a while to learn sll the things this watch is capeable of and I am up for the task. Some initial thoughts 1 easy to read in bright sun and large enough text to see without my readers. 2 OMG outstanding battery life. First off, the weight and wearability is exponentially better. My old fenix was heavy and large, and wouldn't dream of sleeping with it on. This new model I forget is even on my wrist but yet maintains that military grade look I love. Build quality is top notch, status quo for Garmin products. Absolutely love the flashlight feature, what a useful feature that I have used almost every day. The map, weather, and navigation features are fantastic. Data Lover watch face is still my favorite, and this new model has so many more data points to display. Glances, controls and hot keys are so useful. Morning reports are very informative. The heart rate sensor is so much better than prior watches I have tried. GPS connectivity is almost instant. Created a multisport custom activity for an off road marathon that worked flawlessly, same goes for the pre planned route I created.I can't say I have seen any benefit of the solar feature yet, even when in full sun exposure for hours. I have been getting approximately 1 week of battery life, using it for 1-2 hours of gps activities per day, normal notifications turned on, and minimal backlight usage. Was hoping for a little longer.
