We are very happy with theGarmin Rally RS200 Power Meter Pedals. Although they are not the cheapest product to measure power output they do what Garmin say and have been reliable to date. I found the service and advise from ABC bikes continues to be second to none. They really are the best in the bike business.Thank you ABC

Garmin RS200 Power-meter

The Garmin Rally RS200 peddles arrived well packed within the delivery date I selected at check out and have owned these for around six weeks now. Unlike Shimano peddles that use an Allen Key you need to use a peddle spanner to secure them to the cranks arms. It was straight forward to setup with my Garmin Head and have experienced no drop outs when reviewing the data to date. Cycling dynamics will provide you with more data than you can realistically utilise. Designed for the Shimano SPD SL cleats they have been as secure and easy to clip in/out as the Ultegra peddles they replaced. If you want a Shimano cleat peddle power meter then these are your only option at present. The elephant in the room is the price and the reason I dropped the review to 4 stars. I’m sure more manufacturers will provide alternatives to bring to price point down. If you have one bike then it’s hard to justify the Garmin RS200 for value over single crank and some dual crank power meters.

Just what I need to measure power output from each foot as imbalances over time cause me a host of problems. This was something I couldn't measure with my old Quarq one-sided power meter, and I would regularly have to see an osteopath, especially after long endurance rides. Now I can see imbalances as they arise and train accordingly. That with the stack of other data is a gold mine of information useful for my training that again goes far and above what was available with my old Quarq. So whilst these are not expensive, I am happy with the investment and feel assured that I can train in a better way than I could before with all the data i now have as a result

Good but expensive

Power data is good. Reads slightly higher than my other power meters. Works with shimano cleats, but slightly more lateral movement (nothing to be concerned about). Would be better with rechargeable batteries. Expensive compared to Favero Assioma, only difference in data being PCO.

Great pedals better data

I bought these a month ago (cleats do come in the box) and have been happy. Power Putput is pretty closely to my Tacx if I calibrate each ride. Lots of great data sent to my garmin head unit (foot position and if I am standing or sitting among others).Pros: I can now train with power outside on multiple bikes, easy to move between bikes, can use pedals to send power to trainer road app and Tacx to zwift, seem well built.Cons: costly

Knowing the Power of Each Leg

I am an active cyclist who trains for events using dual sensing power meter pedals on the bikes that I ride for my workouts. My workouts vary to build my aerobic capacity and to improve my upper end power to maximize my performance, and the power produced throughout each workout is a key component of the workout. Due to previous injuries, I do have a strength imbalance with my legs, and having the dual sensing meters allows me to see how effective my efforts to improve my pedal stroke dynamics for the weaker leg are for each workout.

My first time riding outside with power......now a convert!

I have become a recent convert to the benefits of measuring power when cycling to improve performance, based on the urging from a good friend and my personal experience from my recent Wahoo/Zwift set-up at home. I looked at all the power meter methods/options and selected the pedal option as best for me (despite its higher initial cost) as it gives me the flexibility to upgrade my bike and take my power meter with me. As for pedal power meters, I focused my research on the two most highly rated -- Garmin Rally and Assioma. Frankly, I would have gone with Assioma based on reliability and rechargeable battery except the Rally came out with the SPD pedals.....with the Assioma SPD version likely due out later this year. The Rally RS200 looks great and performs great. It is clear that this version solved the final reliability concern from the original version of the Vector 3 (metal battery door threads). Ultimately reliability can only be measured over the long-term, but from my research and early experience I am confident in the Garmin Rally!

Upgraded from a pair of original Vector's. Easy to install, set up and ready to go - just connect to your head unit, calibrate and go.Nice to have Shimano cleats as an option after suffering too long with squeaky Keo's!

So far, so good

I've had the peddles for 3 weeks now, and I have moved them between 3 bikes over that time, and this was a major selling point for me. I like the enhanced cycle analytics, similar to Wattbike data and will be looking at improving my style accordingly. Metrics include standing time, peddle lift, degrees of effective pressure, foot pressure symmetry on the peddle. So far I am very pleased with them. I have not looked to convert them to spd configuration (I doubt I will), I've not needed to change the batteries yet. they are fractionally heavier than my previous lightest Shimano peddles, but the same as a mid range pair. If you're that hung up on weight, perhaps avoid that slice of cake at the cafe stop instead....

Solid, reliable and accurate

Solid pedals that are providing accurate readings after some minor teething issues. The pedals come with some quick setup instructions, but the full user guide (downloadable from the internet) is required to provide more substantial information, such as the recommended torque settings to use when fitting the pedals in order to give the most accurate measurements. One of my supplied batteries was flat which made me nervous at first since the pedals weren't being recognised, but this was easily resolved by replacing the supplied battery with a fresh one.
