Garmin thought about that and they allow you to make changes to the distance walked during each work out to reflect the treadmill's if there is a discrepancy.Sleep tracking: The sleep tracking is about 70-90% accurate. The watch can reflect when i remember being awake during the morning. For example around 4-5 am my cat will usually wake me up because he wants to be fed. If i look at the sleep information in the app 8-10 the watch will show i was up around that time. It does not provide a sleeping score like fitbit but, it provides the spo2 which throws into the algorithms to provide how much energy your body recuperate from sleep.Finally what i love the most is the integration with myfitnesspal. I love to track my calories in and calories out. The app does the math and sends the information back and forth between both apps. Samsung and apple watch were not able to do that.My conclusion.... If youre looking for a fitness tracker first and smart watch second look no further! This watch is it! It's very accurate! The battery life will last 4-5 days enough to get you plenty of data or your fitness during the week!

The screen to the touch is very responsive. The buttons are also quick to activate any part I want to get to. I wore it to sleep and finally showed a 1% drain in battery about 7 hours after having fully charged it. This morning I used it for the first time weightlifting (I workout with only dumbbells and a bench at home). I do a 30 minute max workout that works for me. I set up the watch to prompt me at the 30 minute mark once done, or 300 calories burned, whichever comes first. The heartrate is very accurate and steady throughout (you WILL NOT get a steady heartrate with Samsung Galaxy watches). The battery on a Galaxy watch will drain significantly faster. Apple, I guess, is cute , but its biggest drawback will be battery. After my 30 minute workout, my battery is still at 100%. I took the watch off the charger at 5:52 a.m. and right now as I write this review, it is still at 100% and it is 7:11 a.m. I personally do not care to take a call on my watch. I do not care to speak into it to respond to a text. In the end, and this is for everyone, DO NOT take anyone's word nor review (including mines) on what decision you should make. YOU should decide what is best for you. Some (many actually) like the pretty screen (beautiful on the Venu) on a watch and are okay with charging their watch every night. Many wear a smartwatch for status and "look at me" cool factor to impress. Many users are outdoors all day and climb mountains, ride bikes, jog, run marathons, etc, etc, etc. My review is coming from a guy that is 58, loves to lift his dumbbells every day, wears the watch all day, and just wants to see who is calling, texting, and emailing, and enjoys breaking the 3000 calories a day burned mark, and breaking the 10,000 steps a day mark. That's it. The Venu does that exceptionally well. It feels super light on the wrist. Looks fantastic, and the build is solid. Yes, I have had it less than a day at the time of this review, and yes, I know with time the battery will degrade, but Garmin produces one of the best and most accurate smartwatches in the business. And their battery life far exceeds anything on the market. Their customer service is top notch, everyone speaks great and understandable English, and their headquarters are here in the United States.

Long time wearer of the Fenix series and currently own the Fenix 6X Platinum. However, the Venu 2 has become my favorite watch. The bright, colorful display is much more useful than the Fenix. Even though the Fenix display works great in sunlight, I find that the Venu display is just fine outdoors (good enough) and way better indoors. Combined with a touch screen the much lighter and thinner Venu works better with long sleeve shirts and jackets. I use the snow ski, hiking, and walking apps mostly and the Venu supports these just fine. All the data collection that I care about is also supported by the Venu. The Venu may not be as robust or durable as the Fenix but it has turned out to be a better (and cheaper) alternative for me.

Use this for general fitness tracking, and for tracking my runs and bike rides. I like the Garmin application, it provides good insights about activities and health stats. Integrates well with other health and sports apps like apple health, strata, rally, myfitness app. Weekly activity emails are really nice and creating dashboards on the garminconnect website allow me to track progress over time. This was a good upgrade from the vivoactive 3. My experience with garmin products has been consistently positive. One time I needed help from customer support when a a piece of the watch wore off sooner that expected, they replaced the watch with a new one. I’ve had my Venu for 9 months and it works as expected.

I bought this watch so I could listen to Spotify while skateboarding without having to keep my phone in my pocket. It took a little bit to set up. I had to download 2 apps on my phone and connect it to my laptop just to connect to my phone and setup Spotify but once I got it figured out I was able to download my playlists from Spotify straight to the watch and connect directly from the watch to my headphones so my phone can stay in my backpack without having any connection issues. The sound quality is great too. After about 3-4 hours of constant streaming the battery only drains about 20%. The watch is lightweight and comfortable to wear. Been looking for a good value running and swimming watch for a while, and was feeling they were alwasy going to be a little out of my price range ... then found this refurbished model and went for it. It helped that I have got great service from Garmin cycling computers over the years, so was confident the device would do the job well. The device itself is easy to use, light and comfortable to wear and very accurate ... and covers all the sports I could possibly want and loads of others than I won't use. Haven't tried the music function yet, but all seems to be in order. The fact that it comes with a 12 month warranty from the eBay store is reassuring and, honestly, apart from a tiny split in the silicone strap it is impossible to tell that it is not brand new.

My primary use for the Venu is for running and cycling (both indoor and outdoor). I initially owned the Garmin Forerunner 245 for about two years. An amazing watch, but I eventually wanted a watch with a touch screen.I opted for an Apple Watch (series SE), but returned it after two months. During the exchange I came across the Venu. Although it is inferior to the Forerunner 245, it honestly comes with nearly EVERY feature for my specific needs; I am an enthusiast runner and cyclist. Although it is inferior to the Forerunner 245, it honestly comes with nearly EVERY feature for my specific needs; I am an enthusiast runner and cyclist. I run division one cross country, and can say confidently that this watch is not acceptable if you are serious about working out.Pros:-Looks pretty, and can be worn just about anywhere.-Not too big-Has some cool stats if your interested in that stuff-Can hold your playlist (although I haven't got mine set up because it's a pain in the butt to figure out)-Can connect to Strava and the Garmin Connect App for more detailed figures related to your workouts.Cons-The GPS component is far less accurate than other watches I've owned, even compared to other Garmin Devices.-Charging is terrible. It's literally a coin toss whether my watch will charge over night. (Isn't it a shame that Garmin works so hard on their watches but can't get a cable right?)-Interface is beyond annoying. Definitely turn off notifications for step counting goals or whatever before a workout because it can screw up your splits and even make you accidently delete the workout mid-run.-Of all my teammates, I know for a fact that I have the worst watch. Coros Apex and Apex Pro are likely to be better choices.
