This is also truly the first cleanser that doesn't leave my eyes reddish and irritated (l apply micellar water to 2 cotton pads, put them on closed eyes, then very, very, very softly massage - barely moving - the lids and lashes, and repeat with another part of the pad. Usually mascara liner is completely off after 'massaging' 3 times w/ same pad. And without leftover gunk or irritation. Makes me keep all the lashes too. I do need to moisturise my face afterwards bc my skin is very dry, and it needs some love after a full day. But it's not as if the Garnier creates pulling, itching or flaky skin at all. My face feels clean without being overly stripped. I also use it for non-makeup skin cleansing because too much water is bad for my skin,and a quick wipe with Garnier Micellar water to get rid off the dirt from the inside outside air is great. Absolutely recommend the stuff. I only wish it came in a spray pump - easier to apply to larger cleanse towels and no risk of leakage. But that's a minor thing.

I know there’s been a lot of confusion about this product and a lot of unhappy people. I do not work for Garnier I’ll just start by saying that. There isn’t an oil per se and usually when they say that they’re talking about mineral oil which is some thing you definitely want to stay away from especially if you have oily skin because that will cause breakouts and irritation. The layering process is to remove heavy duty make up like waterproof mascara. Which it does do fabulously with very little irritation. Do not rub on your eyes can you do a padding motion first and then swipe it and use your finger nail to kind of get in the crease where your eyeliner or mascara hits on your eyelashes. And you do need to wash your face after this especially if you have oily skin if you’re leaving that kind of stuff on your face like any make up remover it’s going to be uncomfortable it’s kind of like washing your face with cleanser and not rinsing. I hope that helped someone out there and again this is a great product if you were heavy kinds of make up the Neutrogena even the target brand of the Neutrogena is fantastic too and it does cause a lot less irritation but again make sure that you wash your face with a gentle cleanser afterwards to get rid of all the residue and is always use a good moisturizer whether it be gel or lotion.
